Everyone is assuming we will see a freshman in the swamp, but I am not so sure. I think we will see a new QB soon, but I still think Worley starts Saturday...

But I guess the bigger question is how many QB's will see PT against South Alabama. This seems like a good game for a QB tryout situation, with UGA and a bye week upcoming...

Thoughts...?

I have been posting that exact idea since July. From the games that Worley played against USC. MTSU, & Arkansas in 2011, I didn't think he would be the answer at q.b. However; I felt there was a possibility that he could improve. When he didn't play lights out in spring practice, I knew he would not keep his job.

The South Ala bam game is a good game for a new q.b. to get his feet wet and to take those strengths and shortcoming from that game and get ready to the UGA game.

It seems that my prediction will work out...

I don't have a clue as to who will be the starter for the rest of this season though. However; I am confident that during the q.b. competition in the off season, that Fergy or Dobbs will win over Peterman.

I agree, and thought about starting a similar thread. Yea Florida o is bad, but they still have one if the best D's in the country. There d is sophisticated. This would not be the best situation for A fresh to start in. They will blitz in multiple formations and I'm not sure any true freshman would be ready for that. So save it for s bama, because I think fans would be really disappointed at the production they get out of a fresh QB.

Im for the freshmen rotating. Then in goalline and short yard situations insert the Orange Mile package with Beast at fullback and McCullers taking the snap.

I'm for picking the best zone read QB with the most accurate arm and making him the starter for the rest of the year and forgetting all the other junk.

I would have to agree. I realize Florida is a hostile environment and I realize that would be an enormous amount of pressure for a Fresh QB.

At the end of the day we HAVE to have a QB that can make zone reads and gash defenses when they stop respecting the QB keep.

Dobbs gets my vote; I realize he's not the fastest but I like what I see.Joshua Dobbs QB 2012 Senior Highlights - YouTube:good!:

Nope something has to be done in order for us to have a chance to win IMO .. I would rather do it now and get it over with .

This offense needs a playmaker at the QB position or this read option stuff is useless.
