Q

Let's summarize.

Q has posted that Special Counsel Robert Mueller isn't investigating Trump at all — he's really investigating Hillary Clinton, John Podesta and Barack Obama. Other Q initiatives involve familiar players in conspiracy theories such as the Freemasons and the Illuminati, while others mention The Titanic, pedophile rings in Hollywood, and the possibility that former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin wears an ankle monitor. Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, the Rothschild family and Satan also make appearances in Q discussions.

Or a grassroots movement "about the covert battles being waged between the deep state and President Trump" (according to Tyler, a guy at the Tampa rally who held a metal coin emblazoned with the letter and showed it to WPLG, a TV station from Miami).

Q gives readers "breadcrumbs" so they can ferret out details on their own. There's other lingo as well. Bakers are amateur sleuths who follow the crumbs. Anyone who tries to debunk Q is "a clown." (This includes CIA agents, shadowy operatives, forum contributors and, most likely, reporters, although there's separate terminology for them).

Like Tyler, the man at the Tuesday rally in Tampa, many believe the mainstream media is lying to them.

TBC below.

Hey, Johnny come lately...

You, in your infinite wisdom, ever pause to think that this entire politics forum, and all those who have been here daily for quite some time...functioned very well and in harmony before your smart azz got here???

Best I can tell not a single person here likes you. Nobody likes your posts. Ever. Nobody agrees with you. Ever...lib or conservative. Nobody. Because you're a knowit. Nobody likes a knowit. Ever. Several people, who have never put anyone on ignore, have done so with you. You are that terribly arrogant and condescending.

So you show up in yet another thread, that has gone just fine for ages, and insult the OP... AJvol....and tell him that HE is ruining this thread. Its HIS thread. If you dont like it....piss off!!! Dont come here. Nobody forced your dumb azz to open this thread. It wasnt Intended for you. Nobody invited you, or your snarky, infantile, " my thesaurus is a mile wide, but my life experience is an inch deep" drivel to come here in the first place.

Now, take this thread advice...and scale it out to the entire politics forum. Tell you what, make your own thread, set up a poll, and ask everyone here, whether dem or conservative, if they give a damn about you or your opinions and unwanted advice. See if anyone likes you or wants you to stay.

Guarantee you it's just like real life. Nobody is ever around you unless at work and paid to be...or blood related and cant escape. Because you are the most miserable, jaded, cynical, full of himself individual I have ever seen post here.

Start the thread. Start the poll. Cant be a coward all your life. We will be waiting.

Edit: you have over 1500 posts, and only 383 likes. Ever. That speaks volumes. I have been here 6 or 7 years, rarely post, and about 60% of my posts get a "like". Wonder why? Because you are a condescending prick all the time. Same reason you cant get laid. Women are usually good at seeing through BS from cocky windbags.

The problem with the above is that some of it is true, some of it is partially true and some of it will turn out to be, and has turned out to be, absolute bull diarrhea. Parted with the fact that there is no way to know if it's an embedded deep state operative or if it's a prankster.

Joseph Uscinski, a University of Miami professor who co-authored the book, "American Conspiracy Theories," said Q "is just hitting the right audience at the right time given the right circumstance."

People who understand conspiracy theory advocates know one thing many of them refuse to admit.

Said Uscinski: "Very few conspiracies have the staying power of a JFK."

It helps that Trump has been a conspiracy theorist himself. He has promoted Alex Jones and his ridiculous falsehoods. By the way, Jones is at a legal crossroads right now while being sued for defamation by Sandy Hook parents. There is another stupid theory that has been defended by some idiots on this forum.

How do you safeguard the integrity of our elections from domestic & foreign criminal actors?
How do you utilize the Russia Russia narrative to knock out decades old election corruption?

President Donald J. Trump is Strengthening the Security of Our Elections
Why are D’s opposed to cleaning up voter rolls?
Why are D’s opposed to imposing VOTER ID LAWS to further safeguard our elections?
Why oppose basic ‘common sense’ methods that are currently deployed WW?
Logical thinking.
Corruption.
Trump sounds call for voter ID laws to fix ‘rigged’ system, after disbanding fraud panel

"What is the overall message of Q to his Boomer adherents?

Trust the plan ...keep the faith ...don't question or rethink anything ...Trump and Mueller will take it from here ...Vote for the GOP.

Effectively, Q's message is *passivity*. Keep on keeping on.

My sense is that Trump's people correctly perceived that Trump won in 2016 precisely because he was viewed as an outsider who would totally change the system, that he would be a big **** You to the Powers-That-Be. Basically, Trump was elected on the basis of deep White anxiety.

As Trump became part of the system, his "outsider," "chaos candidate" status was depleted. Enter "Q," who put forth the provocative thesis that Trump was secretly about to arrest the Deep State and restore the Constitution.

The problem with conspiracy thinking is not that it's entirely wrong: there *are* powerful cliques, which have far more influence than your elected representative. The problem with conspiracy thinking is that it inspires passivity. You could say that it is a slave morality.

#Qanon is fascinating in that it a new type of conspiracy thinking. The Illuminati conspiracies were about these foreign elements (Jews, Catholics, Satanists, or literally aliens) controlling everything. Q tells his deluded adherents that *they* are part of the conspiracy!

It's doubtful that mainstream, FOX-level "conservatives" will embrace Q. But they won't denounce him either. The phenomenon serves their purposes, and they will put forth a slightly less wacky version of the Q narrative.""

I have no idea what any of it means. I figure the truth, whatever it is, will out eventually. At least, I hope so.

I am actually really, really, really on the fence with the whole QAnon movement. My attitude is, we'll see. I'm definitely skeptical but have an open mind.

You are wrong, however, when you claim that the goal of Q is to inspire passiveness and inaction. While I agree, it does promise much trust that things are being done behind the scenes (and I distrust this to be honest), Q is actually rallying people to participate[pate in the ways they can--grass roots research, sharing, etc... Q is supposedly offering and encouraging a doorway of action into the system at a level the average person can leverage themselves.

true or not, I believe this the real reason it's becoming so popular, because most Americans feel disenfranchised from the system and are gravitating to anything that offers them a handle of action.

Q is little different from Bernie on that front.

Your problem is that you suffer from the inverse of your criticism of the Q adherents. You chide the, for believing it. Well, I chide you for just as audacious and misplaced a sentiment, for believing it untrue.

The fact is that they don't know. You don't know. You're just too arrogant and self-congratulatory to realize you're just as in the dark as anyone else and should be exactly as quiet as you want them to be, as you are exactly as ignorant as them.
