I am inclined to agree here Ras...but if so,how do we change this?

It seems that education, both public schools and public universities, have moved waaay left and now tend to slander capitalism, our nation's history, etc and lead the kids towards extremely liberal beliefs and even socialism. How would we go about changing a system that is notorious for tenure and lifelong careers? It isnt even Constitutional to try and replace teachers or professors based on their political beliefs, so how could we ever change the status quo?

Seems like the 1st step would be one that we have discussed repeatedly...double teachers pay in order to attract better talent. If kids education isn't worth investing in, then what is, right? The second step would be getting conservative capitalists in charge of developing the books and resources, lesson plans, testing materials etc...to ensure that kids are learning about what makes our country different, and special in the way that we developed from a group of disorganized colonies into the most powerful nation the world has ever known in what, 150 to 200 years? 1976 was the bicentennial, and I would say that we were dominant by then for sure. (The Vietnam debacle not withstanding a decade prior, we could have easily won the war if that was the objective...rather than enriching politicians and the M.I.Complex)

What other ways do we begin ridding our nation of the disease of socialism/communism ? If the clear evidence in both history and present day Venezuela doesn't dissuade kids from believing in a failed ideology, what actually could? Ideas, anyone? Do you guys not think it is very important to stop these garbage beliefs and negative attitudes towards our country in the youth?

Unfortunately, the answer is that most conservatives, even people like me, are too busy trying to do their jobs and do what we can within our circle. Most of us have no desire to get into politics and get into education. Meanwhile, liberals dominate the schools and they have no problem injecting themselves into politics because they have nothing else better to do. Most liberals are just academics. They've never really done anything in life, with a few exceptions obviously, or they are parasites on the rest of us that actually do keep the wheels of society turning and they demand more from us. So in a way, we can't complain too much about loosing control of our country if we are not willing to serve in these important positions. It was said somewhere about a month ago and it resonated with me. But it is true that most conservatives are too busy working and trying to maintain a decent living to be out in the street protesting and getting engaged. But if we don't get out in the streets and get engaged as some point, then we will not have jobs or livelihoods for much longer...

They really have us in a bad situation. How far are they going to corner us before we start pushing back?

You do this: worry about you and yours, make as much money as you deem necessary to live above it, and say F it, F you all, good luck, and live your life in a happy bubble. This is the best you can do.

Three houses with building permits valued at more than $5 million are planned for an oceanfront Hawaii estate owned by associates of former President Barack Obama, a property once known as the home of Tom Selleck’s “Magnum, P.I.” character in the 1980s.
Permits totaling $5.08 million were issued last week by the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Planning and Permitting for the land owned by Waimanalo Paradise LLC, a three-acre estate about 10 miles from the Kailua neighborhood where Obama, his wife, Michelle, their children and their close friends, Martin Nesbitt and Anita Blanchard, stayed every Christmas holiday during Obama’s two terms in the White House.
Waimanalo Paradise LLC was created as a Delaware limited liability company by Nesbitt, who is chairman of the Obama Foundation, in 2015 to purchase the oceanfront estate from former Hawaii state Rep. Eve Anderson for $8.7 million.
Nesbitt and J. Kevin Poorman, president of the Obama Foundation board, earlier this month registered the entity in Hawaii with the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
The former house on the Waimanalo estate, which Anderson’s family built in 1933 and which was known as “Robin’s Nest” in the first “Magnum, P.I.” series on CBS, was demolished last year.
Since then, the land has been subdivided into two parcels — an “east lot” of 1.65 acres and a “west lot” of 1.34 acres.
According to the permit records, two single-family homes are planned for the east lot — a “new single-family home with a new guard post, garage and service” with a value of $1.06 million, and a second single-family home with a permit value of $1.68 million. A third permit for site work was valued at $463,000.

I think all we have to do is look at what socialist/communist countries all over the world are doing to their people. And, then look at what the democrat controlled states and cities in America are doing to their citizens, allowing for riots and already acting like a socialist/commy country.
If Biden/Harris are elected we will have a fight on our hands, it worries me.

The Democrat politicians are so busy right now playing to the choir, the choir being their base wanting socialist government and mob ruled intimidation. They want to look good to them, they want to increase their base and stay in office.
Meanwhile, the Republican politicians are setting on their a@@, some that are Rinos and oppose Trump and are ok with what is going on. The others either have no clue, no leadership ability, or no backbone.
They will continue to carry on this BS until we the people start calling them out on it, show up at their offices, and even show up in Washington. We need to have our own “peaceful protests!”

Second, if and when things reach a level that is truly warranted with a fight, do not be dismayed either.

These people have no conviction, it will not be a hard fight to win.

At some point hopefully we will see the rise of true public servants, not selfish egomaniacs, or people who think they know better than the people what’s good for the people but true public servants who truly represent the people
