I like Q too, but I don't think he deserves to take more touches away from Lane, or Neal. Now if he could play CB or Safety, yea he deserves more snaps.

He probably will get 1 carry next game, then AJ Johnson wildcat, then Neal, then Devrin, then CP, then pig wildcat, then Lane, then King wildcat. Maybe there'll even be a surprise.

I like Q too, heck the guy supposedly runs a 4.2, but he hasn't done squat with the ball in the few times he's gotten it this year, so I don't think he deserves more carries. Cutcliffe is a decent recruiter - on offense. But have you seen his defense perform the last two games? I think with Cut it'd be more of what we have now, killer offense, killed defense.

Justin King is a very special talent, and so is PIG. Justin can play the FB, TE, and RB postions, and PIG is going to be a very special receiver here IMO. We have talent. Our O-line isn't going to lose much, and we have some awesome young talent at WR aka Dallas, Bowles, and PIG. If we could just pay top money and get Gruden or Chip Kelly here we will have a top 10 class in recruiting as well. Von Bell, North, Green, and our commitments we already have will all be Vols IMO. We have to land Von Bell, Green, and North. Those three guys will start from day one. Von Bell and Miles are a major need to this class and to this team. We have to find some shut down corners and safeties.

The problem is we have Q and Young and CP... CP is a beast so any trick play etc is going to him because he's arguable the best player I've ever seen with the ball in his hands at the WR position at UT. Young and Q will end up being return men for us after CP leaves, and hopefully we will get a offense that goes to power running with a true power RB, and this way when Q or Young do come in the defensive will be worn down and they can use their speed to make a huge play.

Seriously, Dooley has wasted redshirt yrs for King, and Watson just to run the friggin wildcat a few times. King should be at LB, that's his future and Lord knows they need speed there and Watson and Pig are the same player basically.

King is the only FB we have next year... Dooley wasn't worried about redshirts anyways he was worried about his job. We are just desperate. We had Gray at CB Sat. and he was getting smoked all game. Coleman hasn't improved. Moore hasn't improved. This coaching staff just can't develop talent. You want to bring on projects you better know how to teach them how to play or we are doomed. We recruit top talent on offense except at the RB spot and look how well our offense has done for the most part. We recruit projects at CB and LB and look how our defense has done. I'm not a star gazer, but it tells a lot about a player when you see who else has offered him. When you get guys whom MTSU, LA Tech, Syracuse, and Wyoming have offered you are going after players who are projects and aren't ready for SEC football. BAMA takes on 10+ 3 star guys every year so stars don't matter, but what does matter is BAMA develops those guys and in the mean time they also get top rated talent whom everyone in the country wants.

Also, to go along with that Bama doesn't have great skill players other then at RB. They have descent WRs, but the top guys they go after are OL, RB, DL, LB, and CB/S. That's the recipe for winning.

Sounds like the kind of "Top" players TN goes after also. Heck, we recruit all over the 48 states in the US + Hawaii. If the player doesn't fit here he signs on to someone else. We can't make them come here to UT.

It can't hurt at this point to get Watson in the rotation. I wouldn't bring Alabama into any discussion regarding us...we're far removed from them as a program. Dooley and Sal will still be here...for now.

I'm kind of tired of hearing about David Cutcliffe too--he's not coming here. It won't happen. Did anyone see the job he did at Ole Miss? I think people who embrace the past are just in for disappointment. We need a homerun hire at this program not "Back to the Future" If you want to relive the Fulmer years watch the DVDs. When Alabama hired Nick Saban do you think they cared if he lived in Alabama--coached at Alabama---had Alabama ties? No. Let's drop the bring Trooper Taylor/John Chavis/Phil Fulmer/Cutcliffe train and concentrate on winning on the here and now and the future.

Most of TN top players are skills players. We get great WR and have done well on O-line, but we have had to go juco to help our d-line. We simply can't get great talent consistently on defense or RB.
