It took watching him on Gruden camp to realize he was smart and a very likeable young man? Your brain work on a 4 year time lapse or are you too busy working legal cases to keep those thugs in Gainesville on the field.I turned the corner on Dobbs last year, and especially watching him on the ESPN show working with Gruden. Very likeable young man. Smart.
My own uninformed observation from his college career was that he was slow to change his decision on who to throw to. Progression was a beat too slow, sometimes two. Not sure if that was because he was being very deliberative, or what. In my view, that was his biggest shortcoming and hope he can get into a rhythm where it is more instinctual for him.
Dobbs is every bit as a proud representative as Tebow was for UF. Dobbs is an awesome leader, great player maker. He lacks a bit but was likely hindered by poor coaching. Dont get me wrong, he is obviously not as accomplished as Tebow, however Tebow had a far better team around him, even if they did kill a few people. Dobbs is everything you look for in a college athlete.
