We're an expansion team. I'm the tallest guy at 6'2. We're building on for our summer league team. I'm average more rebounds than points. Nothing official, but I'd say about 7-8 points and 8-10 rebounds and a block or two a game. Nothing special at all. I get pushed around pretty good in the paint.

Hey Nation! We have a new addition in our family. As some of you know, I've been in discussions with breeders, adoption agency people and rescue shelters for about a year for a German Shepherd. We finally agreed to take Jake to the humane society and had him check out a few pups. We found Heidi. We took her out of her cage and she circled my kids about 3 times and sat down right next to Jake. I was told she was herding them??? We adopted her over a holiday a month ago and the vet I chose phoned me on the day we were to pick her up asking permission to shave her entire underside as her belly, chest and half way up her sides was matted with pee, poo, mud and whatever else. So she was shaved, bathed, spayed, vaccinated and then she was ours! She continues to herd my kids (and cats), it really is a wild thing to witness! She is super laid back and the noise level doesn't seem to phase her a bit! She's 16 weeks old now, nips and loves to play.

Nissy, your new puppy is so adorable, I just want to hug her to pieces. Your kids are def happy, love the picture with Jake.

Would you believe when I was little we had a german shepherd named Heidi??!!! She was tan. (My dad brought her home when she was six weeks old - I was three DAYS old, but mom let him live.) Best dog there ever was!! And she protected all of us kids!!! You made an awesome choice!!!

Are those your kids?? CUTE!!!! And so are you!!!

My kids never tire of loving on Heidi, she is very sweet to them, she keeps them all together for me, hahaha!

Are you freakin kidding me? THAT is a wild connection! I wanted a German name and I saw that Heidi was Germanish and I just think it fits a female shepherd perfectly. Thanks so much! I'm so glad you shared that with me! We are over the moon for her, she's so sweet and loving and really wants to make us happy so she obeys and learns quick. My family has only had a few dogs b/c they are life long and when we get them we keep them until they take their last breath.

Thanks Windy! Yes, they are... Lord, the twins being two is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I love them but WOW... Thank God for Jake, he is a very good example for them. And thanks for the compliment on my hair. I just asked her to match the top to the underneath so here I am, a true auburn color girl!
