Not very well I'm afraid.... he told us he was tired of going to the Dr and the hospital and that he was done with them. He told us we don't need to worry about him and that he's ok.... he's had a couple of really bad days in a row dealing with issues related to MDS..... shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, nausea.... it's awful

TY for asking Small.... you've repeatedly asked about him and I appreciate it.

As someone whose mom is suffering with Alzheimer's, I can relate. It breaks your heart to see your parents, your heroes suffer. Prayers for you, your dad, and your family.

Thinking about you Carl. It's tough for me to even read about loved ones suffering after watching my whole family slowly go, one at a time. Sorry.

My mom was very sick for a couple of years and then passed away last August.... now my dad has been ill since Christmas..... these last few years feel as if they've lasted 100. I can't ever let my guard down and relax. The last two days have been the worst so far. He's ready to go and wants to, but it's not quite his time.

My dad is suffering with dementia in addition to everything else. He knows everyone but gets confused very easily. Alzheimer's is truly a heartbreaking disease.... I'm sorry InVol

I went through that with my mama. She was ready to go, but her body kept hanging on. Her dementia would come and go...and when it went, she KNEW there had been times when she had not been "normal"😪. No matter what, when the mind and/or the body goes, it is tough on everyone. Sympathy and prayers.🙏🙏🙏💕🙏🙏

It truly is i think the worst disease to watch a loved one go thru. Thoughts are with all of you experiencing this with family members.

That's exactly how he is.... when he snaps back he'll sometimes ask me what he was talking about.... it's so bizarre.
