Yep..I'm going with #2. I don't believe the track attendants could erase camera footage. It is obvious that the general manager did it, and told the attendants to write bogus reports to keep their jobs. It was a crappy thing to do. If the attendants had even tried to do their jobs, they wouldn't have allowed obviously drunk teenagers to take out carts.

On Sept. 4, 2004, I was one of 12 skydivers to set the very first Georgia POPs record. In the above picture, I'm among the inner four, farthest from the camera's perspective, wearing the dark blue jumpsuit, black helmet, gray rig, and Tennessee orange high-top Chuck Taylors. BTW, POPs stands for Parachutists Over Phorty. Every jumper in the formation was 40+ years old. [Yes, I was on the + side...]
