Hmmm, we did tons of research on them and found that they are not very prone to disease. However, your sister obviously proves this wrong. Did she get them from a puppy mill?

No, she got them from a local breeder. The vet and breeder told her they were more prone to internal problems. One of hers developed bladder problems and the other had a tumor removed from its abdomen.

Now on top of the vet bills, she has to maintain an expensive and ridiculous diet for them. Could just be bad luck but I think dog insurance plans are pretty cheap just in case, especially when a pet becomes part of the family like my sister's have.

Incontenence (sp?) is the problem my dad's male dog had, but he was pretty old when it started. Bladder issues must be pretty common.

They sure are cute dogs though!!! And I don't think his shed much at all, best I can remember.
