Put This Game Behind Us....

Put nothing behind us, this is pretty par for the course for this staff. Pruitt may actually be Les Miles 2.0, we made terrible play calls at the end and should have lost, barring a horseshoe he happened to pull out of his ass on the punt.

I mean, they would have had to drive the field and score a TD for us to lose. Saying that it was a foregone conclusion that SC scores with 1:30 left and no timeouts is a stretch. You can take some lessons and move on. You have to. Fans can dwell on past mistakes, the players and coaches have to learn and move forward.

Idk. Our defense played great 75% of the time. And I mean great. But that 25% of the time they didn't, they played extremely poor. It's the 1st game. It always takes defenses more time to perfect their craft. But that 25% of poor play almost cost us. That, combined with JG's consistent over-throws.

Secondary looked sorry for a majority of the game. D line had some good moments and bad moments; overall I’m very worried.

Look I said before this game I'll take a win no matter how ugly. I hope it was first game rust or whatever you want to call it. But JG, the play calling and secondary (the middle at least, Bryce and Taylor locked down their guys for the most part) were all pretty bad today.
