Purdue WR and rush End not playing

Taylor was by far UT's best cover corner. Who would have lined up vs Bell if he had chosen to play? These guys pretty much cancel each other. Opponents threw away from Taylor much of this season. Burrell made that easier... but still.

Another stud WR, Jalen Tolbert from South Alabama went for 7-143-1 TD against us and that was with Taylor. This is a much bigger loss for them. Bell is the guy that draws the attention away from their other receivers and allows them to have success.

And Taylor is the guy that opponents choose to throw away from. I'm not saying that Taylor is better than Bell. I am saying that without Taylor UT had no one who could cover Bell.

IIRC, you are being more than a little loose with the facts. Not all of Tolbert's yards came against Taylor. I don't remember many if any catches he made while covered by Taylor when he was not well defended.

Woohoo. Lets go to a bowl game and play a team that has all second string players. Sounds like fun...... What a waste!!!!
