Its all good if you believe that but why attack other people's beliefs in such a manner?

... if I offended anybody and for taking us farther down this rabbit hole. It is tough living in the south as a "non-believer" (autocorrect changed that to non-Belieber... what has the world come to?...).

I personally don't like phony and contrived expressions of faith made by athletes after a great performance. Like giving all the credit to God when it was the pulling guard that pancaked the linebacker to allow the big play. I really don't think sports performance is a good platform for one's religion.

I know. It's ok for you guys to say it's stupid but God forbid if we call you stupid for not having faith. Why can't we each just be allowed to have our faith or lack thereof without berating the other? Because it's VN where everyone trashes each other with a difference of opinion.
So true, I've said the most innocuous and simple things here and have been beaten over the head with it. I've come to sorta expect it now. I suppose this is true in all football forums, at least I hope we ain't the only one.

I hope for 3 things...

1...A really good game.

2...A Tennessee WIN!!!

3...No injuries to players of either team.

Team 120, Earning respect WIN by WIN...VFL...GBO!!!

Not offended and I respect everyone's right to their opinion, just have a hard time understanding why when someone else's opinion differs, its "stupid" is all.

Why does the God stuff have to be stupid?

Agreed. A simple question once asked of a non believer...

One man lives his life blieving there IS a God, only to die and find out he doesn't exist.

Another man lives his life believing there IS NO God, only to die and find out he does exist.

In the end, which man truly had more to lose?

So, neither got to spend eternity in heaven? That is what I call a lose lose.

Thanks for the post, but the negative comments sound mostly like sour grapes from the Purdue fans. We won't really know what he looks like until game time. :hi:

Not sure I have seen negative comments about Etling at this moment, one or two good performances and all a sudden you see the, "why didn't he do that at Purdue comments".

All the QBs had similar numbers at Purdue including the current QB. Not sure you can gauge whether he can truly play or not based on Purdue.

Get out of here with that Pascal nonsense.
