Purdue fans thoughts

LOL, time for a reality check, sorry man but I don't believe that BS... No fan sits there and looks at a bad ref call on their opponent and says "yeah that was a terrible call and we actually should have lost this game instead". Tell the truth, Perdue fans were celebrating their win unapologetically. They're now 2-0 on us and there isn't and never will be an asterisk beside their win this past Thursday. We ****** up and lost and, as bad as they were, it still wasn't on the refs...
Perdue fan in front of us turned around and told my husband we got screwed on that call. Sure he was happy to take the win, but he did indeed admit, at least in his mind, we were done wrong.

Meh, what makes it that they would’ve lost? They still would have the opportunity to score a TD on us to tie it up. That call was 100% on the refs.

I have a good friend who’s a Purdue grad. He gave me some good natured crap after the game but said the no TD call was horrible.

Not sure if this has been posted but my illiterate self bought tickets in the Purdue section. Fortunately I wasn’t the only Tennessee fan who did this and we ended up taking over the section. However after the game literally every fan I spoke with honestly felt bad that the game ended how it did. Almost every Purdue fan said that touchdown should have stayed lol. Not arguing and I’ve moved on but just thought it was crazy 90% of the fans in our section honestly felt bad that it was called not a TD. I had a great time and very proud to be a VOL fan. Fans deserve a lot of credit! Go Vols
How did they feel when Purdue’s players were faking being hurt ? BS Which played in there hands slowing down our rhythm on offense.?BS Then towards the end of the game they actually had the balls to Boo our players who were hurt.! MORE BS...I guess since after the first quarter and almost every swing playing momentum. They caught all of the breaks.! I guess they could be so kind in the moment of Tennessees defeat. I’m not saying you didn’t have a good experience around them. But let’s be honest that they were having there cake and eating it too !

I don’t know any Purdue fans but my guess is they’re nicer than many, constantly overshadowed by notre dame in the state, and osu mich and psu in conference. Compared to Florida for example who still believes they are NC contenders.

Yeah and if it would of happened to Purdue me being a UT fan would have blown the same smoke as they were blowing.

I used to work for a Purdue guy. He liked to ask, “What do you call a Purdue alum?”

When people answered “Boilermakers”, he would say, “Boss”.

He was a bit of an azzhole, but I liked him.

Valid point my dude. There was a older gentleman in front of me that was mad and cussing at everyone for boo’n when they would fake a injury and then he was one of the ones boo’n when our guy actually got hurt. He tried to say purdue wasn’t faking. I guess you are right though, not. EVERY fan was awesome and thought the refs helped them. That guy was a douche king

60+ year old Perdue fan in front of me was about to start a fight when the UT fans started booing the Perdue band during the drum line competition during the one TV break. He came around and became more friendly after I started chanting Let's go Brandon every time they started chanting Let's go Boilermakers.

But then the UT fan in the seat behind me fell on me at one point and later was ejected for urinating off the side of the upper deck concourse in the 2nd quarter because the line at the restroom was too long.

Good times.

Classic. We were all booing our asses off at their band... and yeah, we won that too, beotches!

We scraped one out at UK.
I saw it. Sucked for them.
Don't expect Purdue fans to give the win back.
Not their place to do it.
I am as mad as anyone.
I was there.
Their fans owe us squat.

They don't come from the high-rent football neighborhood so they don't have a bad attitude and are thankful that they have a respectable program.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

Maybe we can play them in the basketball tournament and get some payback.

We owe them for that overtime Sweet 16 loss in 2019.
