I teach at a university and another professor in my department is a Purdue grad. They tried to start a friendly war by getting some of my students to write pro-Purdue things on my exam, so I had them do this...…purdont 2.jpg

Is anyone else dealing with co-workers who are fans of some of our opposing teams for the tourney? :)

Work with a Purdue fan who’s predicting a double digit Vols win.

Seems like both of our fan bases have a similar self-loathing streak. I understand where he's coming from. And since Purdue U is like 60+% males, I'm assuming it's a he :D

Yes, I work for the company whose logo is on the Purdue Bench's chair. It's been an interesting week.

I will say this, If TN plays the whole game like the 1st half of the Iowa game. Then Yes, we win by double digits. If instead the TN team from the second half shows up, then Purdue wins by double digits.

Which TN team shows up?

Or if it’s the same 40 minutes team from the Iowa game, UT loses too.

It’s simple. Bring the intensity and focus for 40 minutes and UT will win.

They haven't been particularly "braggy" per se, but there have been lots of discussions.

I think that's because they know it can go either way, just like we know it can go either way. Old boss is a Purdue guy and I reached out to him earlier this week on his take, and it just sounds like it is going to depend on which teams show up and if both do, it could be a thriller, otherwise a lopsided win for either team.

I truly believe if TN plays to its potential the entire game(s) they will hang a championship banner.

You realize your circles on your pic look eerily similar to a twig and berries?

I see what you did there...

I have got exactly SQUAT done at work today. I just can't seem to do anything except watch the clock.

At least most of you have a job to go to and some distractions to occupy your time.

Being disabled sucks and I had to go jump start the lawnmower and get my wife out of the house to mow the grass.

I swear if she had told me 1 more time to stop worrying and to stop watching the clock I might have walked her down the hill and tossed her into our pond.

Hmmmm...Might be a good idea afterall, HAHAHAHA!

GO VOLS, BOIL those boilermakers!!!

VFL...GBO!!!
