Liked it for a while, it's played at every bar or club I go to though so it's kinda getting old

I think it's funny how the radio edit leaves out "bullet" and "gun"

parent complaints... If you listen to the lyrics it's actually about a psychotic kid going on a murder spree. If you don't believe me you can look it up.

The song is very catchy, but the meaning is awful. Hence why I stopped listening to rap. Most Foster the People songs aren't bad.

Yeah its about a murder spree in a school. I always thought it was about a bullied kid.

Just because a group sings about something doesn't automatically in turn mean they support what's in the lyrics.

I never implied they supported it. I'm sure Foster the People are some pretty cool guys. It's their job to make music and entertain, and sometimes, that means going to these lengths. However, it still doesn't make the lyrics any less disturbing.

You should try the rest of the album. "Helena Beat," "Call It What You Want," "Don't Stop," and "I Would Do Anything for You" are also good. Some of their songs sound like MGMT if you're into them. You may also like Panda Bear, who is also with Animal Collective. His sound is like the Beach Boys on acid. Just sayin'.

Their concert was great!

At the end they play a techno version of Pumped up Kicks that was awesome
