PTI says Florida by 58!!

I am not sure, but I think Florida wants the ball first. They want to score within 3 minutes of the kick-off. Then they want to be ahead by 21 at the end of the first. Then up by 35 at the half, up by 48 at the end of 3, and then maybe end the game at 55 or so. Tennessee will have to pass to get back into the game........and Florida will want to keep them from scoring any points. I see Stephens in by the end of the first quarter. Crompton will fake some kind of injury. It won't be pretty. Florida will try to rube Richardson and Teague's face in the turf. Did I mention, it won't be pretty. I would say give up on this one and concentrate on the ones that are winnable, Memphis and Ohio.

Don't know where you came from, but I think you should have stayed there. Tricky:eek:lol:

If we have more than 2 turnovers this will be a very long game. If we win the turnover margin. We will be in this game. We do have EB and I know CMK is saving some of his stuff with him for this game. Nothing would be better for TN recruiting than to go down to FL and win this game. I am not saying we will. But I would put a lot of money on the fact that we have saved over 50% of our scheming for this game. Monte will bring the D ready! Will our offense be ready well that is the question.

lol, at least the talking heads are coming down from the 70 points they had us beat by at the begining of the year.

I'm in no way looking for a win, but it would be good if we kept it under the spread. I'd take a 27 point beating as a moral victory.

Thats a good thing. I like Wilbon and Kornheiser but they suck at picking scores.
How boring would it be if these guys picked realistic scores? It's all about exaggeration with hosts like this. Would you rather hear "They'll crush them by 58!!" or "So and so will win 23-17." It's boring. It's all done to peak viewers' interest. And obviously it worked because we have a thread about it.

Just to pile on.. I was listening to Jim Rome today at lunch and he was blasting Kiffin and saying Florida was going to blow us out. Just think its funny that he seemed to like Kiffin when he was on his tv show. Guess Rome had a change of heart

If we keep it within 21, I will be surprised. When you cant throw the ball, it doesnt matter if you have Walter Peyton in the backfield, they line up 8 or 9 in the box, game over.

I have never in my life seen so much disrespect to ANY UT football team....I hope the team is looking at this stuff....Time to step up and defend your team, your pride and the coaches who believe in you...Damn, if this stuff doesn't get your blood running then nothing will.

I agree, but this has really gone beyond disrpect.

58 points is a prediction that this team will quit.

No way we lose by 58 points, that's just insane. We may not be great this year, but we're not some random cupcake school on the Gators schedule. I think we may be in for an ugly loss, but by 30 at the most. I would consider keeping it within 2 touchdowns a victory for us.

I dont see the Gators offense putting up more than 24-30 pts but at the same time Crompton may hand their Defense anothe 21-28 points so while 58 points is stretching it I don't think seeing our beloved Vols keeping it closer that 21 points is gonna happen. I hope I am wrong but I still feel sick from last week and just don't see us coming closer than that.

This happens all the time. The first segment of his show is about bashing people. And at some point he has had, or will have, these same people on his show and everything seems to be peachy keen. I don't know how you go on a talk show and do an interview with a guy who blasted you for doing something a month or two before.
