did anyone else see pti dogging kiffin for his foul shot's at the lady vols game...while it's incredible that he's become such an omnipresent figure in the sports media it was a little embarrassing that our head coach air-balled a free throw. kornheiser was very complimentary of him overall, but that idiot lebatard who was filling in for wilbon did say that "no-one who shoot's like that has any right to accuse anyone of cheating."

C'mon. It was a joke. Did you see the video of Kiffin shooting free throws? That deserved ridicule.

I know they talk about him almost every day on PTI but the one i saw Wilbon was actually making positive remarks.

C'mon. Be fair. Both TK and Dan LeBetard(sp) clearly said they like what CLK is doing at UT.

Did you see the video of Kiffin shooting free throws? He deserved everythink Lebatard was throwing his way. That was just awful.

At least he used the Glass on the second one. I mean come on, he's not here to replace anyone in Bruce Pearl's lineup.

The fact that this stuff is even in the news is incredible. Frankly Lane Kiffin could switch toothpaste brands and ESPN would be all over it.

You can bet that if Kiffin switches toothpaste, somebody will interview the 5th Dentist and it will get linked to this board.

that was my main purpose in starting this thread... to address the fact that we have the most famous coach in america right now...any criticism of his shooting form had tongue firmly planted in cheek

We have the most infamous coach in America. Frankly, I wish he would stop embarrassing UT and just get to work so we can take down the Gators and the bammers.

Embarrassing UT...? Wrong, want to try again?

Nothing good can come from constantly drawing negative attention to yourself. Granted it may be just what we need to get back on the national radar. I just wish Kiffin would talk a little less. At least until he coaches a game.

Obviously it is doing some good, The #1 recruit in America was here just this weekend and enjoyed his one on one time with coach Kiffin...Like coach kiffin said, any attention is GOOD ATTENTION because everytime something happens, The Tennessee brand gets mentioned and people take notice...It appears they already have:thumbsup:

See post #7. You are the negative factor in all of this.

Ever hear the term mental warfare? memory serves me right when we invaded Iraq we bombed them at night so they could not have peace. CLK is getting in the heads of the other coaches so when they face us they will make mistakes because it will be personal to them.

These are calculated moves he is doing and it is working to a T. Call it stupid, embarassing or youthful if you choose but when Meyer looks across the field and sees CLK and those remarks run thru his mind he will not react as a coach but as someone who is mad and will make mistakes.

WTF?? Kornheiser and LebRetard are blithering idiots. Like their opinion means anything.

Their opinions mean more than yours. They actually get paid to share. All I was doing is pointing out the fallacy in your blithering argument. The national media (not regional, home team allegiance media), for the most part, likes what CLK is doing.

Meyer has a proven track record, as does Saban. Kiffin has yet to do anything on the field. I dont think anyone is scared of him at this point. JMO

Kornheiser and Retard do not make up the national media. Retard is a beat writer for crying out loud. Kornheiser cant even call a football game. Just because they get paid to give their opinion doesn't mean they should.

Oh and...you stole my word. Next time, be more creative.
