Can anyone post who, if anyone, UT may actually be considering pursuing since it is open season for them? Thanks in advance. :hi:

Here's a link, but take it with a grain of salt. Almost pure speculation, imo. Also, I noticed that they claim the kicker is a senior, but he's actually a junior. Not a highly reliable source, here. I'd think UT could be interested in the RB and the kicker.

Keep in mind that a guy would have to have two years left to come to the sec, I think.

That was the rule stated and put into place by Slive. However Missouri got Oriahki from UCONN for basketball for this upcoming season. So I don't know if there are ways around it. Or if Oriahki enrolled before Mizzou was under SEC rules in July.

I'd be surprised if we get anybody, schools close in proximity to PSU will likely benefit from this mess immediately and in the next 4 years, schools like WVU, Pitt, Maryland to name a few.

If we just land Redd I will be so pumped for this season that I will rip off my clothes in my office and streak through my workplace.

Silas Redd makes our offense even more deadly. I won't get my hopes up.....but I'll do the same thing you'll do...except more.

I would be pumped too but I will have to say if this happens. I am glad we aren't co-workers. :yuck:

Seems unethical to take pleasure in dismanteling a "proud" program ? I wonder how quick our friends around the NCAA would take their "pound of flesh" if this were the VOLS ? I hope we don't touch a single player on their roster or current commit. Seems like just because it's legal doesn't make it right to me. Don't give me this "it's a business" BS.
Sorry, flame away, just a kid from TN raised a certain way, and PSU needs to be left alone with its self for a while. Even in death honorable men show respect for their enemy....and they aren't even our enemy.

Maybe "unethical" is a poor word choice... just insert a word that meens something less than we think of ourselves at our best.

So you hope that players that had nothing to do with this fiasco are punished by having to play on a decimated team that can't even go to a bowl while they are there? The players are completely innocent in this matter and deserve to have the type of college career they thought they would have at psu, and we are one of the many schools offering this.
