They don't, til Sony said they'd implement it. Now it's a selling point i guess.

party chat is overrated. i've used it and fwiw, i don't chat with my friends unless we are all playing the same game. i mean what's the point? catching up on gossip? seeing what color heels bc bought earlier in the week?
To me, the biggest perk of party chat is being able to mute everyone but people in your party or your friends. So annoying in PS3 Black Ops to have to go down and mute every single person individually, especially when you have new people coming and going every match. One time I muted a friend by accident doing this. I wondered why she was quiet the whole game >.<
In that sense, PSN doesn't even need to add party chat. They do need to make muting options more customizable tho. That being said, its also cool to be able to watch TV shows and movies with your party on Live. Would be nice if PSN could add that too.
