Psn

They might do it in a way without you knowing it, like having you pay for it like microsoft. (Gold and Silver subscriptions)

That way they can have you pay for it without you thinking you're paying for it.

You mean like charging more to buy the system in the first place? It seems to me that they've done this from the very beginning.

Ya'll seen that new deal Dell is offering for students? Buy a computer and get a free X-Box. I'm halfway interested cause I start my Master's in the fall and I need a new laptop since mine is 5 years old. Anybody have any luck with a Dell?

Why would you post this in the PSN thread?

Because this is where people like you like to come and praise the almighty-ness of the XBox. That and I figure the big selling point of buying a Dell is the XBox.

I only do it to piss off the PS3er's. I'm actually buying a PS3 here in about a month. I could care less to be honest.

But seriously, this is a PSN thread.

My wife has a dell laptop, its serviceable.

That's about all I'm looking for. The free XBox has got me intrigued though, but I already have the PS3 and I only play about once a week. So would I really play the XBox that I have to pay for online play is the question. That and I don't see a huge difference between the two consoles.

I like the xbox more. I have both, each have pros and cons. Really no difference until you start nit picking.

Kind of what I am thinking. I don't play enough to worry about the nit picky stuff. That and I just looked at the specs for the computer and was not entirely impressed. When my computer at work has my power I have my doubts.

i don't know that a free xbox is enough to make me ever consider owning a dell. maybe you could get that, turn around and sell the dell and buy a real laptop
