it just popped up a new box for to put a new password in

Never got that. Had to power down twice as the password prompt froze my system.

Train I put in my id then forgot password. They sent me an email with link to change it and it worked

You can change it on your pc as well.

It should send and email to your registered email address. That's the only way I was able too change it.
