No you can't or it wouldn't let me do it. I had to sign in to PSN before it would let me.

It should. When it ask you to sign in,sign in and it will say psn is down blah blah then mash o to back out and it will still go to netflix. Netflix I think is streamed through your own internet not psn.

Yep. It will do it twice. Just act like signing in and press o both times it brings up error. Thought psn was supposed to be up today? Has it ran at all today anyone know of?

Sony is looking awful here. One of the largest security breeches in history. Word on the street says their security was severely lacking and possibly illegal with the info they store. 70 million accounts. Passwords, account names, CC, address....they got it all.

Took Sony 3 days to actually shut down PSN after the breech was happening. Bravo. They have a tough task ahead rewritting the PSN architecture in two weeks

Tough times ahead for Sony.

From CNN

Sony: Hacker stole PlayStation users' personal info - CNN.com

"While there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility," said Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment, which manage the two services, in a joint statement.
The hacker could have taken credit card numbers, card expiration dates, billing addresses, answers to security questions and purchase history, but not credit-card security codes, they said.
Sony is encouraging customers "to protect against possible identity theft or other financial loss" by reviewing credit-card statements. The company also suggested that some customers may want to place a "fraud alert" with credit bureaus.
Sony did not say how many accounts had been compromised. A spokeswoman declined to comment Tuesday.

sounds like sony screwed up real bad. they'll be lucky if they don't end up losing a ton of money from this. i can't see them not being sued.

you have to let it sit til the menu comes up. then hit sign in and it will give the error code and you are in after you circle out of that.
