Ps4

It really makes sense though, 8 months into it's life how many copies does a sports game sell?

Might as well give it away and see what you can get with add ons or various micro transactions and get a few bucks out of folks that otherwise you wouldn't get a nickel from.

There really isn't a comparison between the two. NBA Live is so pathetic that its amazing that they sold the first copy.

Has it always been that way though? Like, has 2K owned the BBall genre since they started making the series? I seemed to remember a time when Live was considered good.

Since 2008 at least. 2K was crushing them so bad that they didn't even release NBA Live for about 4 years after 2010

I guess it's kind of like baseball. San Diego Studios has that genre on absolute lock down with The Show and I suppose no one else is interested in competing.

2K should be ashamed of the "baseball" games they released to the captive audience on 360. Microsoft purchased the High Heat franchise from 3DO when they went kaput but never did anything with it, which was a shame as those were amazing baseball games for the time.

I had that game on PC back in the day. As I recall, the game was great for things like stat tracking and such but it felt very clinical and lacked personality. Segas World Series Baseball was my favorite before The Show came along.

Figures they drop a big name title and it's one I already own. At least I have been wanting to play Gone Home

Man, not a damn gamestop or bestbuy within 100 miles of me with PSVR demo this weekend.

Probably not a bad thing. I can only imagine the pink eye, influenza, and head lice spread at GameStops across the country this weekend, judging by much of the less than hygienic crowds I usually line up with at their events.

Hahaha yeah I know but no way in heck I buy the thing without trying it out.

LOL I don't know if places like Best Buy and Gamestop will have these but I know at E3, they were using these "face condoms" that people were having to put on before slipping on the VR headset. It basically looked like a surgeon's mask that went over their eyes and nose and they had hole cut out in the middle to let them see.
