The android app got a makeover. It seemed to work a bit better yesterday. I was actually able to send messages out and read incoming messages.

Did they fix the network connection? Mine sucks butt. It always says cannot connect to the internet or some bs like that and I'll have full strength wifi.

Do you own it? I'm telling you it's a blast to play. The multiplayer has been improved exponentially since launch and now I can pretty much log on and do multiplayer at will. Every once in a while I'll get the "connection timed out" message but I just re-connect and puts me right into a game. It's not perfect yet but it's nowhere near the apocalyptic disaster that some on the internet try to make it out to be. 3 weeks ago I could understand everyone's frustration. But now? No, the game is working pretty damn good and it's only going to get better.

As for the Plus version being delayed, yeah that sucks for those who were anticipating playing this game, but it's only a delay not a cancellation. There have been bigger tragedies. However I would encourage anyone who loves racing games to take a chance on it. It will surprise you. Another alternative is plenty of Red Box rental booths have it to rent. Or Shareplay it from someone who has it.

Glad you are enjoying it Brave but you are definitely in the minority in that one. I wonder if they are going to have a DLC now with all the issues that have been occurring.

The PS+ offerings for November are kinda weak. I wish they'd offer something with a bit more meat on the PS4. So far Strider and Outlast are the only 2 games I've kept.

I don't think I'm in the minority of those who actually own the game and are playing it. I think the majority of the continued hate that is being spread on the internet are from those who are still waiting on the free Plus version. Literally everybody that I talk to online who's actually playing the game is really enjoying it.

Just to be clear, I wasn't knocking the actual game.

I was talking about a game that was delayed for a year then launched with more online problems than even Battlefield had. It appears to be extremely shoddy work. And I think we are a month or two after launch and it's still a clusterf*k.

Yeah, basically what Sony is saying is that the online issues aren't server issues but issues in the actual written code within the game and cannot just be patched. So they are basically having to rewrite code for the online component of the game in anticipation of the huge influx of online players when the Plus version is made available.

As for those who own the game and are playing now, the online issues have all but gone away. There are hiccups now and then but for the most part, the game is running fine.

I'm sure heads will roll over this whole thing and the way it was managed. My guess is head of Evolution Studios Paul Rutchinsky will be replaced along with people within their QC department. I hope it doesn't cripple Evolution completely and they get shut down because they really are a talented group. The Motorstorm series was among some of my favorite games on PS3 and I hope they stick around long enough to do another one on PS4.

You got that right. Back when PS4 was first unveiled and Sony was touting indie games so much, I KNEW this is what they'd do. Rather than give their big retail games away for free they'd just keep sticking with these ****ty 8 and 16-bit looking rinky dink indie games. At first I could understand while the PS4 took time to build a library. But now, a year later, we should start seeing some bigger titles. Even if it's just some of the launch stuff like Knack or Killzone. That would be much better than freaking Pix the Cat or Spelunky!

Credit to Kwebb for mentioning this in Game Deals thread but Target is having a B2G1 Free sale from Nov. 9-15. November is a huge gaming month and there's plenty of great games to get for this!

Also, for those of you still experiencing lock up issue when in sleep mode there is a solution! If you will boot your PS4 into safe mode and choose to update system software 2.0 again, it will fix the problem.

Yeah mine did it again after I posted the fix. Best thing right now is to completely avoid sleep mode until Sony issues a patch.

In the meantime, Shareplay is awesome. I got online with a buddy of mine last night and we did a Shareplay session with Alien Isolation. Was able to watch him play the game on my screen while we chatted and then after a while he turned control over to me and let me play for a while. Then we did the same thing with Shadows of Mordor and Driveclub. This is such a great feature. It's probably the closest thing I've experienced to actually having a friend sitting next to me on the couch while we play videogames. We also did a round of Diablo 3 where we actually played together, eventhough I don't have a copy of the game.
