Ps4

Yes, but I believe the biggest portion of the 3DS market is young adults.

I'd bet a lot of the 3DS user base is Japanese. For whatever reason, Japan has lost interest in home consoles and instead has shifted to mobile gaming. As a core gamer I can't fathom that. Mobile gaming is fine in a supplementary role but I can't imagine preferring it over playing on home conoles.

They also like shrimp flavored potato chips, anime, and buy soiled panties from vending machines.

Agreed. I like mobile gaming like the 3DS/Vita as a supplement but I'd never prefer it over a console. In fact most of the mobile games I've liked, I usually think to myself "I wish I could play this on a TV." I loved the Game Boy Player for the GameCube.

Finally can upload striaght to Youtube. Share play seems cool even though I will probably never use it.

Shareplay sounds awesome. I have friends who have PS4 with different games than I do (and vice versa). Now I can try their games out through shareplay and they can try mine out. You can also play coop games that support it, even if you don't own a copy of the game.

Gotta say, the Share Play stuff could be cool. Trying out games your friends have and playing it some from your house is nice use of technology.

Update 2.0 is now available.

I downloaded it and tried the Share Play feature with a friend of mine. It worked really well and he has a ****ty DSL connection. I was playing Driveclub, then I went to set up a party chat with him, enabled Share Play and virtually "handed" my controller over to him and he took over my game. It worked great!

3 things you need to know though about Share Play...

1.) Gaming sessions are limited to 1 hour intervals. You'll see a countdown meter when you start. After an hour, you have to start a new session.

2.) 720p resolution is the max you can view a game in Share Play. 1080p is not supported.

3.) If you're sharing a game that supports local co-op such as Diablo 3, you and your friend can play together.

Also, You Tube app will be available this evening when the PSN Store is updated. You'll be able to directly upload videos to You Tube.

The new USB Music Player is a godsend! Playing Driveclub to my own custom soundtrack makes the game that much better!

Be careful if you download the new update... been seeing people having issues with their consoles not coming out of standby mode. The system won't turn off or on. Hope it is just a few random times but I might wait a few days before installing it.

Yep! Happened to me earlier. I put it in "sleep" mode and I couldn't bring it out of it with my controller or the reset button. I had to do a hard reset by holding the power button down for about 30 seconds.

Update: Seems to be working fine now. I tested it out 3 times after that first hiccup and it worked every time. I'm not sure what changed or if it was just a freak occurrence but I haven't had that problem after the first time.

So much for waiting. The update screwed up my screen settings.

Weird. Other than the one time issue with sleep mode, the update has been fine for me. Got all the free themes, got the You Tube app, got Shareplay working just fine, got custom soundtracks working good, etc.

The biggest gripe I'm having right now with PSN are the long delays to receive my messages. I'll get the notification that I have a message and then it takes like 10 minutes before I can actually view it.

Same here with the messages, outbound messages often take a bit to show as well.

Just in case anyone missed it. You can now pause and resume downloads. Just hit X to pause and X again to resume.

Also the PS button is now contextual, and if you see it in a notification, you can press it to access that part of the UI which relates at that moment.

The trophies are linked to this, so when you get a trophy in game, you can press PS to go see what's up in the trophies.

Probably not a big deal to most people (including me), but huge Trophy hunters might be pleased.

I like this feature since Xbox has it also. Makes it easy to check out the trophies. Otherwise it takes forever to access your trophies.

Other additions in the 2.0 update you may not be aware of...

Notifications for Trophies and messages now include a PlayStation button prompt, which when pressed takes you directly to the associated system area, while the audio codec for Party chat has been significantly overhauled.

You can now force a game to look for updates by hovering over it in the system tray and tapping the options button.

While you can also use Kappa emoticons in Twitch streams.

Mouse support has been implemented.

You can dictate how long you want your controller to charge for when your console's in Rest Mode.

Furthermore, there are tons of subtle improvements to game streaming, such as the addition of a green screen mode for the PlayStation Camera, as well as multitasking in the Live from PlayStation app, allowing you to continue watching a stream while browsing for other channels

Also, for those of you still experiencing lock up issue when in sleep mode there is a solution! If you will boot your PS4 into safe mode and choose to update system software 2.0 again, it will fix the problem.
