The short answer to your question is no. Its not worth getting a PS3 just to try out a few exclusives. You'll get bored and head back to the Xbox pretty quick.

Lol. The Xbox ui is terrible compared to ps3. Nothing else made much sense either but this was about the dumbest. If somebody wants to play ps1 or 2 games those systems sell pretty cheap & some classics are available in the ps store for download to ps3.

I'm not particularly huge on most of the XBox exclusives. The ones I do like are Forza (not as much as GT but that's a matter of preference), Lost Odyssey and kinda-sorta the Fable series. I'm not really big on shooters, but if you are then GoW and Halo are right there, but it seems like everybody and their dog has been up on COD and Battlefield which are available on both.

So, to round up, aside from blu-ray and NFL Sunday Ticket it really comes down to preference.

It's all down to preference. I can fly through the menus on PS3 while I don't care much for XBox, but I have a number of friends who are the other way around.

It feels like Xbox bought the rights from Nintendo to use the wii ui.

Im just stating what I and many other think....and Im a PS3 owner. Youre entitled to your opinion, Im just stating mine. Not sure what else didnt make sense to you, I thought it was pretty clear.

Of course everybody is gonna think the obvious. Tv obviously makes a difference just like whether you use hdmi or RCA cables. How is getting a gaming system with bluray, 3d player, free online gaming, awesome exclusives, built in wifi, etc etc not worth it?

Cause he wont play it if all his buddies are on Xbox. The novelty will wear off pretty quick

Novelty? What's the novelty? Anyway, I get tired of playing with my friends that's why I play online. Nothing wrong with playing random folks or making new friends. I have people on my friends list that have never messaged or chatted with we just seem to play good, close, competitive games with each other.

PS3 > XBox. I've owned both. Multiple XBoxs actually (3), and I have gotten rid of them every time.

No it's not. I have both and I played my ps3 about... ooooooh 4 months ago. For five minutes.

If you need a blu -ray player I guess it's worth it (not really)
