My PS3 isn't connecting to my tv. It's a cheap Magnavox but it worked before I plugged it into the tv in my living room that's runs 1080p. This tv does support HDMI. Anyways I'm plugging my HDMI cord into the tv and nothing is showing up so I hold down the power button and it resets all the settings and still nothing is coming up. It's not the cord bc it works on the other tv. I even went onto the other tv and swapped the settings to 720p and made sure all the other settings were checked and still nothing so I don't think the tv is picking up the HDMI cable

Maybe the HDMI port on the TV is bad. Do you have another HDMI device you can try?

When switching TVs, I often have this issue. The best way I've found to deal with it is to press and hold the power on the PS3 for the 2nd or 3rd set of beeps (7-10 seconds). That forces it to reset its output and allows it to be seen on the new TV.

Yeah I did that several times. It just randomly decided to started working again. It's good now thanks for your input
