Same here ............... I&#39;m much bigger fan of the Playstation than XBox.

I&#39;ll pick one up but there&#39;s going to be little difference in graphics or games. Besides, cross platform games will be built with the 360 and PS3 in mind with very little "upgrading" done for the PS3. Sort of like the PS2 and XBOX are nowdays.

XBOX Live really makes the XBOX. I&#39;ve spent equal time on Live Arcade games vs. the games in stores. Plus, hooking up with my friends anytime we are online no matter what we&#39;re doing is cool, too.

I&#39;m interested in the final controller. I was a huge fan of the PS controllers. The new 360 controller really rivals it in terms of feel and comfort. I&#39;ve got my fingers crossed the new PS3 controller feels and works well. Early pictures suggest it&#39;s fairly small.

I also wish it was coming out before the fall. If it had hit beginning of the summer, that would have been awesome.

Any word on when it&#39;s going to be released? I&#39;m not gonna buy anymore games for PS2 until it does...

End of summer at the earliest. They are working hard to get it out before Christmas but have hit a few stumbling blocks so far with chip fabrication and getting everything working properly. It&#39;s a fairly unique chip that was once viewed as a new direction for computing. IBM has since dropped the Cell from any of their long term plans.

prolly not gettin it. 360 sounds like a much better option. i had many horrors with my ps2

Like what? I&#39;ve heard the 360 has had its share of hardware problems as well. If I buy a PlayStation 3, I would rather wait and buy a quality product than get a rushed system i will have to replace.

disc read errors and all that. trouble with the its drive. hardly plays anything anymore. prolly gonna wait for the price to go down on the 360 before i buy it. prolly end of summer or next christmas.
