Whats goin on with this system I have not heard anything on it in a while. Can you get one whenever you want? If any of you have one do you like it better than 360?

Sony is failing to deliver so far. There's a fairly big list of things that should have never happened but have.

- BluRay will not scale to 720p (only 480p, 1080i, and 1080p)
- No scaling for games at the machine level (lots of games output 720p, 480i, or 480p period)
- Latest update has screwed up BluRay playing on many machines
- Very little software out and most of it is terrible or inferior to the 360 version
- Pricetag
- Future games are still getting more love on the 360 (ex. Virtua Tennis on 360 has online play)
- Solid games like Rainbow 6 Vegas keep getting pushed back

In the end, unless you are movie nut or theater enthusiast, there's not much reason to own a PS3 right now. 10X the game selection on the 360 and those on both system pretty much run better on the 360.

2 fairly identical machines power wise. One has a ton of games out now, one doesn't. One is $200 cheaper than the other. Not really any surprise at the moment.

If you want a slightly used one, I'll sell you mine for $100 off. I haven't turned it on since Dec 28th. Just too busy playing 360 games.

I'm sure I'll play mine a lot over the next 5 years, but at the moment, it's collecting dust. If somebody wants a PS3 for gaming, I'd suggest waiting until the fall or next Spring. Game releases will start being more regular and a couple of the exclusives will be out making it what people expect.

Resistance: Fall of Man is a great game. Only game I have. I rarely finish games all the way through, but this one was just plain fun.

Motorstorm looks cool and is fun when friends come over. I'm holding off on deciding to purchase it. There's only 8 or so tracks, and all are in the same dessert type settings. No real career mode or anything like that. The US version will have online play, which might be enough to purchase it. Only problem with the demo is once you learn the track after a few tries, it becomes pretty darn easy to win, many times up half a lap on everyone else.

there's hardly any games in its library right now. it needs something to build with. the only game on there right now that im interested in playing is resistance: fall of man.
