With inflation rates, will that ever happen? Maybe in a long, long, long time when it's a few generations old.

I'll agree with you if you're comparing Microsoft and Nintendo... But vs. Sony? Metal Gear Solid, God Of War, Devil May Cry. There are three great, great series exclusive to PlayStation 2 that are very mature in nature. Not to mention a grip more. The only reason you could say PlayStation 2 is aimed at younger kids is because it actually does have a big collection of games aimed at young'ns in addition to the library of great titles aimed at adults, which is still bigger than XBox's.

i have to say i dont care for god of war or devil may cry, although metal gear solid is a great game.

just wondering, do you like halo?

Educate me:

Exactly what benefit will the 60g drive give me as far as the gaming experience goes?

Nothing when strictly speaking about playing store bought games. However, what the bigger drive will do is give you more space to store any game demos, trailers, arcade-type games, etc. on your system that you download from Sony. Plus, there are additional difference between the two models other than just the drive. I don't think anyone but Sony knows exactly what the differences mean because they've worded it (or lack of words) in a very generic way.

Being able to download game demos on the 360 is freaking sweet. I've probably got 10 demos on there right now. Great way to try out games without having to rent or track down a buddy with the game.

hell just wait 6 months and the ps3 will drop its prices. it will come down faster than u think. plus the best game in the world will be available for ps2 in early '07. so u wont need the ps3 for at least another year.

that game i am talking about is of course. God of War 2

I loved Halo. I played the first one like mad when I got it (finally picked up an XBox about 3 years after it came out). Played Halo 2 online religiously, and also managed to get 10 - 16 friends together at a time, and four XBox's, four TV's and four copies of Halo 2 for big ol' LAN parties. It was great. But, it all eventually wore out. I loved Halo 2 but it's kind of old now.

Oblivion is my current obsession.

Projected for Fall '06. My guess is mid-late November, in order to give Bungie as much time as possible while getting it out in time for Christmas.
