I am glad i passed on the Turtle Beaches. I am going to pick some of these up before MW3 drops. Release date is Sept 6th and hopefully they are as good as the TB. The price is definitely better.

i like those type of headsets and they work great for when you don't want to go a thump thump thump, but i like to shake the whole damn house....

Although for only $99, I may pick them up. Is 7.1 really necessary in headphones? I would think 5.1 would yield the desired effect.

99% of the time, though, I want to utilize the surround system.


The only thing these need is the ability to detach the headset for when you want just "crystal clear voice chat," as the first official headset is absolute garbage that will become a chew toy for my dog when I find a replacement.

i'm not sure, but i am pretty sure it has an adapter that fits in the usb port, so probably not.

you can even be an upscale drive through worker with those, good call. maybe you won't **** up my order with 7.1
