So i ended up buying a 360 20 gig pro refurbed from gamestop. Just finished boxing it back up, honestly i have realized im not a guy that can tolerate high maintenance gaming systems. I bought one game to start out, NCAA 09 and from the opening kickoff my wireless controller would become disconnected, changed the batteries it didnt help, moved around to where nothing could possibly be blocking it, still disconnecting every other play, then it would freeze on me on and off. Live and learn kids whats good for some arent for others.

Not sure I'd ever purchase a refurb 360, but to each their. I've never had a controller disconnect for me. And, line of sight means nothing since they are RF.

I would imagine buying a new unit with new controllers, etc would solve your problem. You can't honestly think all of us with 360s are reconnecting controllers every other play.

Oh well.

I agree im sure this isnt some massive problem with most gamers with wireless controllers, yet my point is i just dont feel like dealing with it i guess. Im the type that just wants to put in a game and sit down and play and no worries. Also i realized i need to prioritize and worry about upgrading my 26 inch flatscreen seeing is mind blowing graphics really dont mean squat unless you have the whole ensemble.. I do see the potential in what im missing though.
