So i just got my income tax check back and was thinking of getting a new system. My old big bulky ps2 is pretty much not reading disk anymore, granted i could probally get a disk cleaner and get it running again but i have been looking into what i should get. Im not by any means a big gamer, i play Maddon and NCAA on a decent basis and some other assorted games so the 360 seemed the next big leap yet they seem to just be so unreliable, then theres the PS3 which i dont think its worth investing that much money for the handful of games i acually play, and then the Wii is pretty much for kids so it brings me back to the slim ps2. I would have to hook up via wifi and i have already found good reviews on a linksys game adapter at Amazon for on the cheap.
So any advice on this? i really am tired of playing my freinds and one player mode so im looking foward to online play..

Really? I just have heard horror stories of people who are on thier 3rd 360 and warranty problems and 1 out of 4 have issues, the red ring of death blah blah.

It's worth it to have a large group of peeps to play with online. However there is a decent group PS3 players on here also.

I own both and my PS3 collects dust unless I watch a blu-ray.

possibly a stupid question but is ps2-ps3 online in the same online world? or is it seperate.. I would assume somebody playing the same game on a ps2 could play somebody on the same game on a ps3..
PS3 is seperate from PS2 when playing online. As for what system to get, go with the PS3.

It's ok to play online with someone that doesn't post on here. You are making it out like that is the only people that you should play online with.

Alright.. you have convinced me to get a 360, good job. Im going to go get a 360 PRO i think , if anybody thinks i should get a different type speak now, im scared. You are talking to somebody that bucked the trend and bought a Zune insted of a Ipod and have regretted it ever since....

BTW when i do get on live can i play any of you guys in NCAA? I have about a .900 winning % so either all of my friends are drooling retards or i have a few skills.
