Pruitt's lawyer says he has the info to burn the whole AD down

And this is why you pay the buyout (or negotiate down) and pay the man. We have paid players for years, across multiple sports. If Pruitt really wants to spill the beans, and has others willing to talk or has receipts, it will be like dropping a nuclear bomb on the athletic program.

You think Kiffin set us back 10 years? This will set us back 30 years in multiple sports.

This is the negotiate down part. Clearly there were preliminary discussions and UT balked. This will go on for a long time and eventually they will pay him a fraction of his buyout, but not because he has anything on UT worth having. That part is total bunk.

Surely UT coaches are bound by NDAs anyways, unless there is illegal activity, and not illegal in the eyes of the NCAA, but actual criminal activity.

Probably getting ready to lose his job with the Giants and will be too toxic to get back into the college game til this blows over.

Giants are 1-5 and Judge is probably getting fired himself or offering up some sacrificial lambs to buy himself some time.
He pushes this to court and he may never be able to work in college football again.

Don't hold back Pruitt.

Show the world what kind of big brain you have!

You're supposed to be a DEFENSIVE MASTERMIND so let's see how well you do defending yourself in court.

Our defense was trash the whole time he was here. Never got better.

We get an offensive mastermind to come in and what do you know, our offense improved tremendously.

Pruitt ain't a mastermind at anything.

I say don't sing it. Bring it!

Doing some research on Pruitt's attorney, he seems to be a pretty good and knows what he's doing. Hopefully we have outside counsel who's solid.

Just like with Butch having no honor gloating with Cigars cashing those 35k checks with bammer, Pruitt, despite being a FAILURE wants to burn the place down.

How about this Jeremy? You DESERVED IT! You rotten piece of cornbread!

What’s the clown going to say? My client Jeremy Pruitt paid players? Ahahahaha
He doesn't have to. There's a lot of ways this can play out, these are just some of the ways off the top of my head:
-He actually has evidence of wrong doing in other parts of UT athletics which would actually hurt us with NCAA sanctions like you wouldn't believe. He can then leverage that into a payday for Pruitt. But either way even if we settle, that information may get released and then we're not just paying pruitt millions, but now that information is out there.
-He doesn't have much evidence of wrong doing. All he has to do is produce enough that a judge doesn't toss out the lawsuit. He then will be able to go digging into our crap during discovery and eventually discover wrong doing because let's be honest, every major athletic department in country cheats, we all already know this.

Either he gets his guy paid, or help his Bama alumni client deal a blow to Tennessee athletics via (additional) NCAA sanctions. It's a smart play. Guy knows what he's doing.
