Probably never which is why everyone gets so pissed when he screws up. He is a 15th yr senior, we are 1000% sure #2 knows what not to do. Some how some way he continues to invent new innovative ways to screw up. This is depressing GBFO!!!

He really didn’t yank HB. His stated plan all week was to rotate both regardless of the game situation.

You still don’t pull a true freshman QB who has completed every pass so far, and gaining confidence. You just don’t do that. That is beyond terrible coaching.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when they interviewed Pruitt at the half he made a statement about HB holding the ball too long so they decided to go with JTS at that point. I'm assuming he was referring to the "fumble" by HB. (I don't think that was a fumble).

Question though...why would he yank a QB who is playing well for supposedly holding the ball too long when that same philosophy hasn't been utilized really at all the past 2-3 years with JG?

The blocker whiffed, clearly his arm was going forward.Not sure how you blame the qb..

He didn't seem invested at all in that interview. I can take little from that either way except that till he starts winning it's an ugly look. "Cornbread" is cute...when you're winning.

I have little confidence in long term with Pruitt.

I think it was Ok, especially since Bailey knew beforehand. We are trying to find out what our Qb’s can do and the Vandy game was the perfect opportunity.

If he's got a long term master plan, it's seemingly cryptic and flawed.

I would be unhappy with his approach if this was his very first season.

I think HB learned a lesson from this game. He can not be allowed to form the bad habits that they let JG form. He will be a better QB because of his experience during the Vandy game. I think he will be a very good QB.

Well...in Pruitt's defense, reading game flow isn't really a strong suit.

Along with half time adjustments.

Public speaking.

Pass defense.

Generating sacks.

Generating turnovers.

Capitalizing on turnovers.

Staff management.

Roster management.

Working well with others.

Picking a QB.

Coaching a QB.

Finding a QB coach who can coach QB.

Winning games his teams should win.

Using a TE.

Recruiting a TE.

Holding a recruting class together.

Culinary knowledge.

Other than that he could be a solid coach given an entirely new staff and directions to stay out of the QB meeting room.

You’re right. I think Pruitt is learning. If he would have kept JG on as short a leash & pulled him every time he made a mistake we’d probably have 2-3 more wins then we currently have. It looked to me like HB was pissed (after getting pulled) rightfully so. Both HB & JT Shrout played very well. They really should have been playing since after the 2nd 1/2 GA collapse by JG. We certainly wouldn’t be any worse off and probably much further along.

It wasn’t really his given reason for yanking Bailey. It was a throw away comment about something that happened.

I just rewatched that interview. He said he’s planned to play them both but since Harrison “kinda held onto the ball too long there” so he decided to go with shrout and he kinda go to clicking there. Of course he threw in some inbred slag and said I though they both done fine out there. God that drives me crazy. Why does he not try to sound intelligent? He has a college degree. Don’t tell me he doesn’t know English.

Maybe he's just trying to bring a little Southern Alabama refinement up here to us Appalachian redneck hicks.

Not sure how reply upheld the call on the field. His arm went forward and even had a vicious spiral on it. Something that wild have been impossible had he not thrown it

Pruitt’s still learning to coach and speak the English language, give him time, he’s a very slow learner, don’t you think?
