Sure. I am sure you put Fulmer in that group huh? So an AD hires a guy he thought would work out. If the coach doesnt work out, you just fire the AD as well? Yeah hiring and firing is the TN way. Might as well keep on doing it hoping to strike gold. Give people an actual chance to build some things? Nah. Not here at TN.

Pruitt has the rest of this year to show he can build something, if he shows no improvement he has to go. Fulmer has to go because it’s well documented that he can’t identify coaching talent, just take a look at his coaching tree.

CJP may not be the man, but he deserves at least 4 years to stabalize. Dabo didn't win it all in year 2.

Totally fair. I do think we will see improvement moving forward. I dont know if he gets 4 years. It all depends. If next year the team shows mire improvement, then I would say he gets his full contract of 6 years. But if next year is like this one or worse, then he likely is gone. Gotta figure by next year, most of the starters will be his guys I think. So next year will be a make or break year imo.

At least he drug Spurrier on halloween night in the black uni's, and Crompton looked pretty darn good that year.

JP is coaching next year based on our tradition. We don't bolt coaches that quick. We just have to hope he improves.

Why does Fulmer have to be fired? They didn't fire Hamilton although they should've, didn't fire Hart, Currie was fired for being dumb. Just because a coach doesn't work out doesn't mean the AD has to go as well

No excuse for Saturday Pruitt took the blame and he should. Lyle was in charge from 2013-2017 and when orange pant’s players left the **** hit the fan. Imagine having to rebuild a prestigious football program with no head coaching experience after those two were in charge a career intern and a coach that had a barstool on the sidelines. The people that hired those two should legally be in jail.

Why does this make any sense. Pruitt is not going anywhere. You know Bama fans wanted Saban fired after a couple years. Pruitt had alot to clean up. JG is not a SEC type quarterback. (He is a Butch Jones guy). I am glad you fans don't hire and fire football coaches.

I'm not sure I'm following you here, I'm sure your referring to clawson it wasn't totally his call there the AD pretty much tells coaches who they can and can't hire also clawson is a pretty good coach it just wasn't the best time in coachs career to be changing offenses. I feel we had a great staff when I was there and coach was always great. Coach Fulmer is a great coach and an even better man, he bleeds orange and white and would never do anything to hurt UT.

Absolutely any good or even great coach in the world would take the Tennessee job if the price is right.

Everyone has a price. You just got to know what that is.

Bama never sucked you know. They always had plenty of talent. We suck and have very little and it seems the best players we have get injured. Bama has 3 best players for every position. One goes down, the other steps up. When our best go down, a true Freshman 3 star has to step up, and then he gets hurt and never develops to his potential. Vicious cycle we seem to be stuck in.

We need an impact player. That is usually the QB. The one that we have starting must be great in practice, but that doesn't translate to game performance. He's had plenty of time to develop and hasn't. He doesn't have the "it" factor.
