Pruitt's Anger

Give us a blow by blow, details that that include SC's defensive coverages, personal, clock strategy, scheme changes, Tenn's injuries, personal changes, blitz packages, cover Techniques, etc etc.... 12 minutes left on clock go and I'll hang up so you can impress us.

Did you watch the game? Did you see any adjustments made in the second hakf when things started going South? I didnt. What did you see that gave you any indication that the SC game wasnt a failure by the coaches and players?

You said Pruitt lost this game! I say he didn't!
3rd Quater was controlled by Tenn. They scored on opening drive which makes taking a knee before half a smart move by Pruitt. When you have momentum you need to keep it on the road. Tn goes up 21. to 9.....70 yd pass, no pass rush, Bentley wants to go to slot he's covered, checks to Wr who's running a post. Corner sets on 1st down line knowing he has safety help WR runs by him. Safety takes very bad angle and WR gets by him. Perfect Defence for play but very bad execution and not Pruitts fault. 2 plays later D tackle gets beat cross face tackle pulls and pancakes 34 who arrived late cause he got caught inside RB scores easy not Pruitts fault. SC in a deep cover 2 all night. Everybody says throw deep which any coach in the world worth a Damn knows better.
50/50 balls become 25/75 balls not good odds. Tenn drives down to 14 gets stupid PF call (not Pruitts fault) moves ball back to 35 3rd and 27, some on here wanted a miracle call but any coach worth a Damn would try to get in field goal range, Which we did now it's 24 to 16. SC scores goes for two 24 to 24. You must be blaming Pruitt for missed tackles and our Dline playing the whole game (with little substitution), not getting much pressure, I'm going to blame it on depth. Our last drive, get 3 first downs then get motion call, drop pass, batted ball (not Pruitts fault). Y'all can blame this game on Pruit, his daddy, his momma, hell blame it on Fulmer but I'm going to blame it on SC.

On that 70 yard pass play why no pressure? No. I am blaming Pruitt because it seems like we had the game in hand for about 3 quarters. So what happened? Now I know these guys are not in the best shape, but the end of that game reminded me of a Butch game. Almist zero adjustments made on either side of the ball. Almost no deep throws to keep the defense honest. I know some want to say JG cannot throw the deep ball but he does pretty well. We didnt run nearly enough. We were having success with the run. But for some reason Helton went away from it. Muschamp made the adjustments he needed to to win the game. We didnt.

Yes the players failed to execute in this game, but there were bad coaching mistakes made. But thats to be expected from a rookie HC. I am not saying he isnt a good coach because of that game. I am just pointing out that Pruitt deserves more of the blame for that loss imo.

Hes the HFC, when they beat AU he should get the credit, when they lose a winnable game (even tho outside Volnation many didnt expect it to be a W) he ll get the credit.

I dont think hes gonna run from the failure and if he trys it wont matter because enough of that over time he wont be able to outrun it.

The car salesman tried to explain it. The best thing to do is shut up and go back to work.

No pass rush because their 5's beat our 4's.
We were in the perfect call for that play.
My grandson went fishing with me the other day he had been hung up twice and caught 4 or 5 using one of my poles.I told him he needed to retie but he didn't. Little later a 4 LB range smallmouth breaks him off. I ask you was it my fault or his?
It might could of been prevented of He retied
but more than likely it was the smallmouth fault.

It’s a little confusing. He comes out after the Georgia game backing his players and says all the right things and gets me excited with a tear. Then hope they get used to winning and like their smiles after Auburn game. Then I wish I could dump these players and get 25 of my guys in to compete at Alabama half time. Didn’t even see what he said after South Carolina.
