And the players executed it in the last 5 minutes. This shows that his players follows his toughness, no matter what is going on. That toughness will bleed over into 2020.

Pruitt knew his team well enough to believe he had to take that chance. It turned out he did, and he was right -- at least in the attempt.

Pruitt has made some calls in the past to try and win some ball games. I think he will continue to do that in the future. I don’t know who to compare him to when it comes to making these kind of calls though. It’s unbelievable what he comes up with unexpectedly during some pressurized moments. I wasn’t expecting that at all, and I was even shocked with it.

There was some good and a lot of bad from a coaching perspective. The end of the halves/beginning of halves are still an issue. Game and clock management is still an issue. First half playcalling was an issue. Obviously the onside worked and was well executed.

Made less mistakes than the team across the field. It was NOT pretty but often times against an evenly matched opponent, it happens. Just WIN
I tend to think that the only reason this game was a nail biter was because of the amount of mistakes we made. We made many more crucial mistakes than they did.
