Most aren't saying he will be immediately fired; but they are saying yesterday is pretty big proof he is NOT the guy.

And this may be immature but him being a Bammer makes it worse. I’m trying to hold back all of my conspiracies but dang it if it doesn’t feel like a sabaotage job. 🤪🤷🏽‍♂️

We have a crap QB, a roster everyone agrees is fools gold and a losing mentality. 10 months ago we beat Auburn and this guy was a god. 7 months a go we pluck some legit top tier recruits that everyone wanted. I get it. Georgia State. But give it some time.

We are not going down this road again and you are insane if you think otherwise. Firing coaches too soon is what got us in this mess and it sure as hell isnt going to get us out. Yesterday sucked. I wasnt even mad. I was sad. It literally felt like a death. But **** happens. Were either going to get better from it or were going to start over. Fulmer is NOT going to let this University pay another fired coach millions of dollars for 3 or 4 years. He will get his shot to right the ship, if he doesnt turn it around he will be gone. But those saying he should immediately be fired are delusional. IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN.

You don't think it's warranted to fire a coach who goes 5-7 his first season followed by 3-9, 0-8 in conference play with a loss to Georgia State?

What do you expect to improve over the 4 years left on his contract at that point? How many coaches do we have to see not have signifcant 2nd year improvements before you realize that when that doesn't occur, the coach is not successful at being a HC?

There is a strong possibility that BYU beats Vols next week. I don't see Pruitt recovering from this unless he beats one of Florida, Georgia, or Bama

Kiffen, Dooley, Jones, and now, Pruitt. One of the enticing things to pitch a prospective coach is how low the bar is now at U.T.

The BYU QB is better than GSU's. BYU is more talented athletically, too.

Still 11 games to play.

Some may see that as 11 beatings left to go.

People may believe there's no where to go but up and that we've hit bottom. IMO, we have not hit the bottom yet but oh so close. IF we go 0-8 in conference play while losing another nonconference game and only having wins against Chattanooga and UAB (maybe?), that will be the bottom.

I honestly don't care as long as he doesn't get any extensions. Short of turning the bs around and winning an SEC east title, he is a lane duck. It has now been 15 years of rebuild at this point another 3 is what it is. The stupid part is all of the unwarranted extensions and golden parachutes that we have given.

Of course he will! We are already fired coach poor! been over a decade since we have been relevant. The football money isn't rolling in like it was in the 90's and early 2000's

If we manage to by the grace of God himself, still pull off a 6-6 season, and get to a bowl, and Pruitt even hints at asking for an extension, then he should be fired.

4 years may not be enough unless Harrison Bailey is the next Trevor Lawrence.

If he comes in and they turn him lose, he could literally save the program.

The real question is how on earth did we end up with a situation where every head coach hire in college football gets gurenteed millions of dollars in cash no matter their experience, and even if they do the crappiest of jobs? I mean if you are competing over the Sabans and Meyers of the world I get it, but for an coordinator who has never proven his chops at head coaching? That is fkd up.

You’re probably right about 4 years.

We can differ on the reasons for where we are, and whether it would be a good or bad thing to get rid of him.

Keeping him through 4 years is purely financial.

I don't know if he's the guy. But saying he's not after 1 "true" recruiting class and 13 games is ridiculous. NO excuse for the loss yesterday, don't know what the problem was. But for me, he gets his 4-5 years to fix it, not one season!
