We are not going down this road again and you are insane if you think otherwise. Firing coaches too soon is what got us in this mess and it sure as hell isnt going to get us out. Yesterday sucked. I wasnt even mad. I was sad. It literally felt like a death. But **** happens. Were either going to get better from it or were going to start over. Fulmer is NOT going to let this University pay another fired coach millions of dollars for 3 or 4 years. He will get his shot to right the ship, if he doesnt turn it around he will be gone. But those saying he should immediately be fired are delusional. IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN.

Glad to see some fans aren't 100% numb yet.

But..

Soon.

If Pruitt goes worse than 4-8 I bet he is gone.

I don’t think it matters what Fulmer thinks. If he’s been watching this program for the last year and thinks it’s headed in the right direction he probably needs to go too.

Firing coaches too soon is not what got us here. Not firing them soon enough is our problem.

40 thousand a game would certainly speed up the process and expect it could happen if we lose anymore non conference games. I think some real beatings are coming in the SEC not gonna be anything most fans can stomach as the season progresses.

Dont think so. Although if he does go 4-8 or worse and doesnt show marked improvement next season, he could be, but that's worst case scenario.
Well, and I know its early, but he has shown zero improvement in his second year. Having a worse record would be a nail in the coffin. The final one? Not sure..but he wins 3 games..or 0...everyone will want him gone.

I would’ve agreed with you before yesterday. But yesterday I saw a coach with no energy and no passion. Blindly playing a qb with no energy and no passion. At some point it becomes obvious he’s never going to lead us back and at that point we have t make a change. There’s no sense in sticking with someone that’ll never work out. That point for me came yesterday. Yes...2 years is quick. But it’s like a qb that goes out and is just so bad you no he’s not the answer. No sense in going through growing pains with him

The lack of emotion by all involved yesterday is the most disturbing thing to me. Its like the entire team and coaching staff found out their parents were getting divorced before the game and it was their fault.

I disagree firing coaches too soon is what got us here. I believe what got us here is firing coaches too soon without having a gentleman's agreement with the proven coach who will follow him already in place.

But my problem is who did we fire early? Kiffin bailed on us after a year, Dooley got 3 years which I think everyone could see that he was not the answer and got hired because we were in a desperate situation after Kiffin bailed on us in January, and we gave Jones 5 years. I repeat 5 years.
