Right now where Tennessee is.....

He needs 3-4 years minimum before you can judge him.

He has massive perceptions to overcome in recruiting that both fans & administrators have put on the Tennessee brand right now.

You have to remember Andy Wilson

This years recruiting cycle is pretty much lost.... and add that to a team thin on oline & LB talent....

It's going to take a few years

4 years is literally the maximum. Every 4 years you have a completely different team. By 2022, he will have team of only his recruits.

Saying that a rebuilding process takes longer than 4 years is just an excuse for losing. If you can't do it with a team full of your own players.. then you can't do it.

If he's good he can salvage this class. We had the #6 class just a couple weeks ago. If he can just win back the kids that decommitted, he will have a Top 10 class.

I'm giving him a pass on this year though.... Tennessee has a damaged brand, this year is a early signing period. Won't be able to recruit this year like in years past... might take 2 years to fully recover from a recruiting image standpoint.

Hey look I want Tennessee back YESTERDAY, but we have to face the reality of the program right now.

Tennessee has a MASSIVE BLACK EYE.

Early signing period this year.....

Every other year a coach could come in at December and still have a couple of months to change a recruits mind....

This year you don't

The early signing period is OPTIONAL... We will still have National Signing Day at the normal time. If there are any recruits who are still on the fence, they are not going to sign anywhere on December 20th.

Recruits love the spectacle of National Signing Day. They love all the attention and the hype around it. I would bet right now that most of the 4 and 5 star kids will wait until NSD.

Given Fulmer's roadmap to a championship, either one are homeruns. I think Pruitt is probably a little better because of recruiting, but I would love to get Tucker as well- he may have less baggage.

Either one of these guys would be a good hire, especially in comparison to what we've had.
