Is it just me or does JP seemed resigned to the fact that theres no hope for this team. Watching his interview at halftime and at end of game, he seemed extremely depressed.

Wouldn’t you be with this roster? Literally only two players were recruited by Bama according to the announcers

He is not used to having the type of players we have. On a positive note. He has taught this team to strain and play with heart. They are not great but they don't quit and they have improved. The D played a good game tonight. The O line is our biggest problem and we have help coming next year.

Still have a lot of teaching to do for the remainder of the season. Difficult to do with this O-line.

Do you blame him for feeling that way? If this is truly the best of his abilities as a coach and this is the resulting product, then it has to be demoralizing. The offensive line is pathetic

Just think about Pruitts comments after his first team meeting after getiing hired. He remaked about how small we were. That spoke volumes. Think about what he is used to. Bama, UGA and FSU. He is used to having players who know how to do their jobs effectively. He has said time and time again that he needs better players. And if anyone cannot see that he does then you are blind. How could Pruitt not feel lost with this roster? He has an OL that is small, soft, weak and just flat out terrible. There is no quality depth. Your best OL is unfortunately not able to get healthy. He has no quality depth anywhere on the defense.

I mean what in the world is Jeremy Pruitt supposed to do?

Don't misunderstand me, Im not blaming Pruitt. It just seems like he has had all of this he can stand. Kinda like hes ready to throw in the towel

He’ll, wouldn’t you be too if you inherited this group? You can’t change a mindset and culture in less than a year on the job. He’s got to get some croots.. and next year will be a time to start judging I think

Our o line has been bad for 10years what makes you think it's gonna get better next year?

I would have agreed with this team improving as the year went on ... but ... after last weeks 2nd half collapse and this game today I think we peaked and are now backsliding. Making too many stupid mistakes (penalties) and a constantly deteriorating offensive line will prevent this team from winning another game this season I'm sad to say.

I think a lot of this is true. We have a really piss poor team to be honest. But he got them to win at auburn. And we choked at South Carolina, which sucks but he had us in a position to win.

I hope today was just the team frustrated and thinking they could sleepwalk. But making a bowl, as far fetched as that seems, really helps recruiting which clearly is the biggest problem right now.

So, I guess he feels no differently than the rest of us?

One of them is injured (Trey Smith), and the other is Peterson, who finally saw the field today.

But I think more than two were recruited. I bet Shy Tuttle was, and maybe Drew Richmond.

These announcers were amazing dumbasses, even for an off-game SEC Network crew.

At one point they talked about how Jordan couldn't catch out of the backfield as well as Chandler and it was a shame Chandler was nicked up. Except. It WAS Chandler, and the camera focused right on the name on the back of his jersey as he trotted off the field. SUCH dumbasses.

Not a big distinction, but the way i heard them say that it sounded like only 2 players that he personally recruited. Not that Bammah as a whole recruited.
