If you won't believe anything until you read the official press release from UT, why bother reading a fan forum?

Sherrer or Pruitt each could handle LB but I wish that was a specific dedicated coach.

I have seen no info in S&C and frankly wouldn’t be hurt if we kept Rock for now. Going into the offseason he is a familiar face and could be a stabilizing presence. And his resume speaks for itself still.

From where we are now my biggest pondering point is WR

if you watched coaches presser with your ears open instead of the way you wanted to interpret he said he would not be giving out any names of staff hires. So rumors are fine but it’s not official until coach says so and that information will usually beat your rumor mill either by his announcement or posting to the ut web site.

Our wr's werent amazing this season, but they showed some growth imo under beard

to be fair, i did alot of google searches over the last couple of weeks regarding tennessee coaching and got alot of inaccurate stuff :eek:lol: welcome aboard coach leach, doeren, miles, etc...

Pretty sure Bama uses a DLine coach and 2 LB coaches. One for the inside, and one for the pass rushers. In this case 2 DL coaches makes sense. One takes the front 3, and the other gets the edge rushers.

Friend and Helton are doing an in home visit with Mays today but you're still waiting for some IT guy to update the website before you'll believe it?

DIdn’t Lance Thompson Coach LB’s when he was at Tennessee on Kiffin’s staff? Could be the spot for him if we have Rocker and Rumph splitting the DL. All three of those guys are terrific recruiters.

I think Pruitt will use two linebacker coaches. Lance maybe for inside and Rocker outside.
