This recruit class is nosediving. Multiple misses already. “Sure things” flipping to other schools on NSD.

HUGE holes in the secondary and O-Line with little options to fill them. All while, Pruitt stayed at Alabama to coach in the playoffs—time that shouldve been spent working 100% on this recruit class and team.

Alabama benefits and at the same time sticks it to us twice: Pruitt helped them win another NC and it obviously negatively affected this years class and Pruitt’s ability to bring in talent.

Phil shares the blame in allowing him to coach an extra month at Alabama.

I thought the time Pruitt spent coaching Alabama during the break was a dead period for recruiting. The inability to close deals with recruits happened after the National Championship game.

I think he's done a hell of a job considering what he had to work with in the short time he had. I think it was noble of TN. to allow him to coach in the NC game, and will probably be benificial to the program soon.

During the Jacob Copeland press conference on ESPN2, his mother walked out of the gym after Copeland selected Florida over Alabama and UT.

She was wearing an Alabama sweatshirt and Tennessee knit hat.

This is the reason we can't have nice things....

Maybe people who post stupid crap on the boards should apologize, you think?

0 - 8 impacted recruiting; many recruits have the attention span of a gnat.....sort of like many football fans.

Is today disappointing? Yes, yes it is. But it’s not completely unexpected given our record, dumpster fire of a coaching search, and the success of our rivals. I was hoping for some surprises today and that didn’t happen. I’ll have a few drinks and wait to see the product on the field next fall before panicking.

Then why this the tired comment out there.

Who gives a crap if it was a dead period? It is not a legitimate reason to defend his staying at Bama.

We still got JJ Peterson (who was a Bama commit)

If you think we would have done better had he not being coaching, well that’s on you.

I understand the disappointment, but that's just dumb.

Possibly the dumbest post I've ever seen on VN. Get a life.

We have to have the most undeserving and uninformed fanbase in the world of college sports. The job that has been done is very good considering timing of hire, complete unknown influence of early signing period and wide open negative recruiting due to the absolute disaster of last season. Be glad that even one four star or higher wanted to put with our team or insane segment of our fanbase.

I realize it's impossible to prevent posts from those with the emotional control of a 4 year old. But man, it gets old. Join the adult world OP and understand there will be many ups and downs in the coming year. Not having a top notch recruiting class was already the expectation.
