If Tennessee does go 9-3 I could see Auburn being very interested in Jeremy Pruitt if they fire Gus Malzahn for winning 6-7 games or less.

who is going to beat Tennessee besides the big three(and all games will be close)? BYU? Missouri? No chance. We will not lose again to Vandy, Mizzou, USC, for a long time. BYU has no shot at Neyland, No shot. No shot. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some players on that team and even coaches who are actually afraid to play at Neyland.

You can think that if you want and that’s fine. I think you could even provide a few reasons why it SHOULD be better....things like a second year in the program, another year under Fitz in the S&C program, two of the top OL recruits in the country coming in and 2-3 others that look good and have potential.
But, fact is, this OL is still made up of guys from last year’s OL that produced the 114th rated rushing attack in the country and led the country in rushing plays that led to negative yardage. And when you couple that with what we saw Saturday, which was our first team OL only averaging 2.7 yards per rush vs a patchwork, inexperienced DL that pretty much everyone acknowledges should be our weakest position group in 2019.......let’s just say it doesn’t inspire confidence.

8 win season. Wow. It's almost like some people have been watching a different Tennessee team. 4-8 then 5-7 to 8 or 9 wins? I got some timeshares to sell yall..

Hate to be a downrr but tennessee hasnt beaten Alabama in 12 or 13 yrs now. Florida will destroy UT this year and until UT can actually win against top teams. 5-7 at best. No hope for this program anytime soon.

JG is the third best QB in the SEC and we’ve got good talent behind him. O-line will be solid and Dline will be top 5 in conference

Can’t take anything he says seriously. It’d be one thing if he were remotely reasonable so you could just label him an optimistic fan. But he’s so over the top, so hyperbolic that’s he’s just ridiculous and not to be taken seriously.

I know I’m negative, the last decade has jaded me, I’m just gonna skew negative until the program turns and, imo, gives me a reason to start believing again and give them the benefit of the doubt.

But this guy....good Lord. I just can’t believe any adult who has been watching and keeping up with the program any reasonable amount of time could possibly bring the hot takes he does.

Both Chandler and JJ are gonna win Heismans, all 22 starters are gonna be first team All-Americans, and we’re gonna dominate and destroy the Saints in the SuperBowl.

Complete lack of progress? Were you watching the same Spring game I was?

Our defensive line is significantly bigger and faster than they were last year. Our linebackers are significantly bigger and faster and actually know what they are doing and our OL (which btw is getting even more people to include a kid that will probably start as a Freshman) did a pretty decent job at protecting JG. Yes they had some break downs but overall they were significantly better.

By fall we are getting Brandon Kennedy back and I suspect Trey Smith. Just getting Smith back would be huge. Kid has a different motor and will be playing the guard position which is his most natural and most dominant. (Won’t have trouble running behind him at guard)

Agreed, coupled with the fact our D May be better than most here think. They moved up 35 and 70 spots in terms of total defense and run defense in year one. If we can put up 31-35 points we can win some games
