Coach JP has a different demeanor today. He knew all the details, about every player with minimal review of his notes. He seem giddy to me. I am excited about Tennessee football and the direction that this team is headed. The future is extremely bright. Thanks to all the coaches, player and support staff for your hard work and welcome to Rocky Top to all the new signees.

That makes 6. Tells me that they intend to use Holliday in the slot etc.

Got to be careful not to put too much stock in a remark, but I thought that was interesting. I bet Holliday and the transfer did too...we know the 3 from this season and Barnes are definitely 4 out of the 5 that coach considers in the QB competition. Who the 5th one is is debatable IMO...

WAIT....Rick Barnes is going to play QB for the VOLS next year? 😁 I‘m pretty sure you mean Bailey.

* Holiday will play QB, until He and the coaches decide differently. I’m guessing one or more of the QBs will be departing.

After listening to the interview, I don't think we should read anything into that. The guy who asked the question did the math and arrived at five. I think Pruitt just said five without doing the math himself. Now with that being said, I've got to believe that at least one of those guys transfers, but I don't think Pruitt was eluding to that. I think it was just an honest mistake.

My thought was he wasn't counting Hill as a walk on. He definitely said Holliday was playing QB.

Either way, we aren't gonna have 6 by September. If I had to guess I would say Shrout transfers and Holliday will go to WR when he isn't in the top 3.

Only looked down at his notes to make sure he did not leave anyone out. From there he detailed every thing about them; height, weight, reach....etc. it is just planted in his mind.
He knows more about each player and their potential than they know about themselves.
I’m so optimistic and excited for our future!
