The more I listen, the less burn-ish that sounded. I guess the depth chart DID get posted already, but I wonder what credence Pruitt gives to whatever was released. I'm guessing he's going to play whoever he wants, no matter what the depth chart says, lol.

We better see some steady improvement on the football field or these kinds of press conferences will get old in a hurry. Wasted time I will never get back. I understand the desire to not give anything away, so I will give him a pass for now. But I have rarely heard so much nothing delivered with so little enthusiasm. It's all in the master plan, I guess. Go Vols!

I think Butch liked press conferences. He liked the attention. I get that Coach Pruitt probably views pressers as a necessary evil. A real coach has no use for them, as they would rather get their message across on the field on gameday. I truly believe that, and expect it to work out well for our Vols.

I can see how it isn't a "burn" situation, but at least he is standing his ground and running his own game plan. The other guy bowed to the media just to please everyone. Who cares if he is or isn't like Saban.. At the end of the day.. I hope they have similar Head Coach numbers down the road.
