Pruitt Post Game

He just said we had our best offensive day of the year today. My goodness, he's insane.

We scored the least amount of points against Bama than anyone all year.

He is starting to sound more and more like Botch.

Now I am starting to wish for Mike Leach; at least he would have called it postgame for the overall garbage that it was.

Easy to look good at Bama when you have the best players money can buy.

There is a lot of truth here. Until the Bama machine is braked this is the reality. We simply aren’t winning until the recruiting game is on an even level.

Go ahead and pencil this game in as a loss until it changes.

Looking at the offensive performance for each Tennessee game this season is like looking at the piles of cow dung in the pasture to see which one smells the least

Crazy to think that Pruitt has never had this type of adversity in his coaching career.....

these next two weeks will show whether he’s here for long term
I was defending him at 0-2 & 1-3 last year.

If he trots #2 out against AK in a couple weeks I think I'll deep fry my own crow.

I thought our players gave up and didn't put out the effort against KY last week. As bad as it looked on defense, I saw the effort today.

Our guys were trying to knock the ball out & cause fumbles before making tackles. B. Young got burned deep at the goaline trying to make a pic instead of knocking the ball down. I saw a few other DB's do that in the second half.

I don't think they're that undisciplined so much as they're becoming desperate. They don't trust the offense to come back and keep them in the game anymore and are desperately trying to make plays.

It's spiraling & Pruitt has got to be able to see it . . . . . . . . if he wants to have a chance at success.

Our roster is not devoid of talent and I desperately don't want to go through the inevitable roster purge coaching changes bring.

He either wants to be fired.

Or duct taped to a metal chair and beat senseless.

Stupidity is forgivable. We develop a soft spot for the Simple Jacks.

Wanton, deliberate, arrogant stupidity, tends to be insulting.

JG didn't turn the ball over today, in his eyes, that's a successful QB performance. JG will start every game the rest of the season, and next regardless of any other factors, as long as he doesn't start consistently turning the ball over.

Pruitt is not a head coach.

I don't know if I can stomach the fact that we will likely, at some point in the not so distant future, be paying two coaches to coach against us at Alabama.

I actually don’t mind Pruitt’s post game press conference.

I obviously disagree with the “practice performers Trump all” take he had.

Some kids are gamers.

Meh I’m not there. We are basically in a better bad start compared to last year. Pruitt shook things up on his roster. Not sure why he won’t do the same. I don’t agree with his stance on practice vs gamers but i don’t think he’s gonna just trot JG out there. I genuinely believe the guy when he said he knew the challenges of this job. Butch was a money grubber and he showed it with the watch collection and Mercedes for recruitment. Pruitt may enjoy the financial cushion he has but i don’t see the guy as a bullsh!tter

The most frustrating thing to me in watching that game was not the play of any particular player, but it was the strategy on offense. I get being conservative early, but they weren't being very aggressive even when Alabama was up big. Either open it up and let JG sink or swim...or put someone else in there. Otherwise, you're just giving up on your team.

Whoa, we're playing Alaska next week? On the road? Better dress warm for that one!

Problem is that JG could have another UK game vs Bama and Pruitt would still trot him out vs Arkansas because he practiced best over the bye week

He's not a BSer, he's just a jumped up DB coach who lucked into other coaches' recruiting a player development as a DC at Georgia and Alabama, and parlayed that into a HC gig at UT that will see him set for life.

Hats off to to him, he achieved the America Dream, but that still won't change the fact that he'll be back on Alabama's staff as a DC or lower come 2023.
