Pruitt post game

I don't think that is the case. I don't think they ever thought they would lose this game/ They worked on the run game , specifically the off tackle . They got the O-line and all running backs needed reps and corrected a lot of problems. The backs all ran their assignments , very little bouncing or coming out of the play script . They held the offense to some really base plays and didn't show much especially in the passing game. This was by design . There was very little play action . The run and pass was not balanced.

This was a glorified scrimmage where the coaches worked on things that the team is not good at. Valuable reps for a team that could not muster a running game at all last year . Let them coach

This.

Hate to say it, but it looked like our current coaching staff pulled a page from the Butch Jones playbook today.
Chapter 13: In a home game where you're expected to romp and stomp, play down to the competition!
UT looked poor but man, calm down on the exaggerations. The game was never, and I mean never close. One stupid penalty and a poor freshman decision away from 34-0. Look at the yards. The only area UTEP won was turnovers, and those were gifts.

And some of you were saying ETSU was the worst football team a week ago so which one is it???

It just depends on which agenda is being pushed. We had a very vanilla approach today and it did 2 things, didn't get anyone hurt and didn't show Florida to much.jmo.

The only problem with this narrative is that’s what we’ve said for the last 10 years. I don’t want vanilla. I want hope that we can win or at least compete in every game. Ultimately, only time will tell if the vanilla gameplan narrative is the truth.

You are right about time be the telling point, but I do believe it makes sense not to show to much until conference games start. We'll know in a little more than a week.

This is believable and provides hope going into next week. But the decision to play Chryst the last series of the first half wasted a great opportunity to get JG live reps running the 2 minute offense. That was a head scratcher.

THIS

We still made errors on O we need to correct - fumbles and penalties. Can’t do this to ourselves in SEC play.

You realize they aren’t in the same football division? Obviously not.

In all fairness, the D did all they. Oils do which was hold them to zero, limit the time they had the ball, etc.
