I agree with you Mike. Where is the personal pride at? It just seems like you would get tired of looking foolish and getting embarrassed play after play.Well---I agree with you....
What nobody's asking on here is:
When are the players going to take some individual pride in their own performances?
Do you think ANY of those OL today will EVER want their future sons or daughters to watch their performance in this game today?
I guarantee you that NONE of them will say.... "Yeah...it was my coach's fault that I couldn't move that DL off the LOS.....Yeah--see here I forgot my assignment and that I had to pick up that dude who hit my QB". Yep, Jr....watch me miss another block during this possession.....

Exactly what I'm talking about, thank you. That's just one example also.I quit blaming coaching when I saw Niehaus stand and watch a Charlotte DL player run right past him without even attempting to block him and another Charlotte DL player run right past Jordan in the backfield without Jordan even laying a finger on him.
ONE play did someone run by him right when he got moved from RG to RT. He did just fine at RT after that.I quit blaming coaching when I saw Niehaus stand and watch a Charlotte DL player run right past him without even attempting to block him and another Charlotte DL player run right past Jordan in the backfield without Jordan even laying a finger on him.

This. We physically do not push or beat people one on one like these star ratings suggest. Our O line can't push any of our opponent's back. We have a few skill people that are SEC caliber, but as a whole our talent level isn't on par with mid level SEC teamsOur 2001, 2003, 2006, and 2007 teams were pretty good....especially that 2001 team....
We haven't fielded a team this pathetic--talentwise across the board--since the 1970s.....not even the '86 or '88 Vols were this pathetic talent-wise.
15 years of CRAP collecting here on the HILL in the cesspool and you EXPECT CJP to clean it up in less than 1 season...PURE STUPIDITY and just plain 'ol IMMATURE!
So....yessir.....YOU'RE BEING IMPATIENT WITH THE WRONG PEOPLE!!!
Grow the hell up!
What amazes me about Pruitt is that the man makes $4 mm a year and has the worst grammar of any SEC coach. It's embarrassing to hear someone say "done" when he should be saying "did" and aight in place of all right or okay on national TV.
This guy is a box of rocks and it might work out, but I don't think so.

I’m a grammar Nazi from way back (and proud of it, btw), but I don’t agree with you on this one. I appreciate genuine people, including the way they talk, and I put Pruitt in this category. What amazes me about Pruitt is that the man makes $4 mm a year and has the worst grammar of any SEC coach.
